Flacco looked good, even though some of those big plays were extremely risky. Torrey Smith is fucking awesome though. Love that guy.

re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Citing multiple team sources, ESPN New York reports Tim Tebow pulled himself out of the Jets' Wildcat package after he was passed over for Greg McElroy in the starting lineup last week.

Tebow has every right to be frustrated about the Jets' refusal to use him as a quarterback, but sabotaging one of the team's offensive packages was probably not the right way to go about it. Tebow was active for Sunday's loss to the Chargers, but did not play. Jeremy Kerley stood in as the Jets' Wildcat QB. We'd say the Jets have become a three-ring circus, but that would be generous. Woody Johnson and Mike Tannenbaum are leading the no-ring circus.
 usually don't condone this kind of stuff but in this case I don't blame him the Jets wasted the guys time only using him for publicity for their sorry team.

re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Yeah I don't blame him at all. The guy was their SECOND STRING quarterback. Their backup. How the hell does McElroy even get bumped ahead of him? Just because Ryan conveniently decided to give someone else besides Sanchez a shot the same week Tebow was inactive with an injury? A guy who didn't even perform well beyond doing just enough to not beat himself?

People are going to give Tebow a lot of shit for this and say he's not a team player, but that's complete bullshit. We all saw how much those Broncos players last year were behind the guy. I wouldn't want to be a bullet shield in that wildcat package either if they won't even let me play the position I play. Fuck that. They just wanted to use Tebow to get cheap yards and cheap publicity for their clusterfuck circus of a team. Almost every time they run that wildcat package, Tebow is a runner and is taking big shots. I'd be like "Fuck you, Rex" too if I was him.

And now all this talk is back to being that he'll have to change positions wherever he ends up after this season. For the love of God, just put the guy in at quarterback until you get a good reason not to. At the moment, there isn't one because he wins. It's as simple as that, he's not great to watch, flaws are everywhere, but he finds a way to win, and that's all that matters.

Jacksonville apparently still wants him badly so he'll get a shot there to not only stay a QB but probably start. That situation is taylor made for him being his hometown and being a tea in need of something to look forward to.

It's so hard to cheer against the Colts, I honestly don't care who wins between them and the Texans next week, and I'll cheer for whichever one of those two teams gets farther in the playoffs.

It's a very refreshing NFL season where there are multiple teams i feel good about cheering for..... I also hope this crazy Seahawks run continues well into the playoffs

re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

I'd rather have Arians leading them than Pagano to be completely honest. Arians coached the team to 9-3 and got the team to where they are now, but unfortunately it isn't his team to coach. Arians deserves a head coaching gig after the year he had and hopefully he gets one next year, if he wants one that is.

My guess is Pagano is going to be there as the figure head, inspirational leader type role... I'm sure he and Arians have been in almost constant contact through the whole ordeal and Pagano has given his input when necessary... and I'm confident that they wouldn't sway from what has given them success to this point.. but it certainly can't hurt to have that man on the sideline with them as they fight for him......... and yes Arians definitely deserves to be a head coach and i would love for my Eagles atop the list to interview him
