In a recent press release by a FWA Official who, understandably, wished to remain anonymous, FWA has revealed tentative plans to resume airing of the de facto developmental brand, Next Generation Wrestling, following a series of delayed network talks. nGw, the on-again off-again series dedicated to showcasing some of the upcoming young talent hoping to make the jump to Fantasy Wrestling Alliance one day, had successfully aired it's first PPV following it's rebirth several months ago, with the highest review referring to the show as 'not terrible.' Since then, however, due to a change in networks, the show was put on temporary hiatus until an agreement could be put into place. Now, FWA and FWA representatives are delighted to announce the resuming of Next Generation Wrestling, once again under the guidance of FWA Alumni, former FWA World Heavyweight Champion, Bell Connelly and her staff.
-Bell Connelly-
General Manager
In what can be accurately described as a joke gone way too long but we're too deep to back out, Bell Connelly is the general manager and head honcho of nGw. She is completely and utterly unqualified for the position and her flagrant disregard for the value of a budget has continuously prevented nGw from making any kind of profit, but she's bright and cheerful and does a bang up job of actually creating a unique show that honestly, we'll live with it.
-Nolee LaCroix-
Backstage Interviewer & Assistant General Manager
Our resident backstage interviewer is Nolee LaCroix, who takes zero snip and will happily antagonize anyone she's interviewing for a 'hot take.' She doubles as Bell's personal assistant, which means she takes two paychecks home, which is another indicator that we're not good with money. Outside of FWA, she enjoys using common office appliances to accomplish outstanding feats and deeds. Her favourite happens to be the laminator, which she used to rescue a kidnapped child from a Bigfoot Cult. This was turned into a netflix adapted film, which - reportedly - was not good.
-Danielle Kennedy-
Play-By-Play Announcer
Danielle Kennedy is 1/2 of the commentary team for nGw, the announcer half who - usually - is the more straight-laced member of the crew. That being said she is wanted in three different states for being a public menace and is rumoured to be behind several of the most convoluted ribs and pranks in nGw history, most notably one that resulted in a pair of godamned mimes showing up and refusing to leave. Danielle has been on a quest for the past three years to find a nickname that fits her, and so far, zero luck.
-Broc Lobster-
Color Commentator
Broc Lobster is not a real lobster and thus is an eternal disappointment. In other notes, he was a former wrestler, then a current wrestler, so that's presently in flux. But until that settles or until we get someone else, he's the current color commentator for the brand. He is expected to drop a minimum of one aquatic-based pun per show, however recently he has not met his quota and, thus, been a subject of ire among the audience.
-Jasmine Perlot-
Director of Internal Affairs, Sitcom Arch-Rival
If you put money on any member of the FWA higher ups to literally steal candy from a child, you've probably just met Jasmine Perlot. Born with a sliver spoon in her mouth, she is the only child of wrestling legend and walking ATM; Francis Perlot IV, but she is a controversial figure in her own right. Her in-ring career rubbed a lot of people the wrong way as although she was a decent worker, she was pushed WAY in excess of her talent (including a Black Widow World Title title run which for many people was an all-time low point for the company). It was an open secret she would leverage her contacts to some of the most powerful people in the industry, near bottomless funds and generally being a master of using politics to her advantage. Eventually it got to the point where no company in their right mind wanted anything to do with her. Her movements for near a decade are a mystery (Even though there are rumors of shady business deals, and a falling out with her reformed father) until-POOF-! She turned up almost out of the blue to take up a position in FWA as 'Director of Internal Affairs.' According to reports she personally oversaw the firing of twenty employees, citing 'budget cuts' while at the same thing arranging for a giant oil painting of herself to hang in her office. That was her first day. As cruel, ambitious and ruthless as they come. Perlot seems intent on proving that even in a world as dishonest and immoral as pro wrestling, there are still new depths to sink. She was once visited by the three ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. She immediately imprisoned them in a ghostbuster-like cage and sold them to the French.
With the time that has passed since the previous show, the roster for nGw is presently in a state of flux. Bell has confirmed that the current champions, along with their current challengers and a series of favorable wrestlers, still hold a spot on the roster, however as with many things, that is liable to change within the coming days.

Auxiliary talent:
Any other Ground Zero alumni or characters submitted for the jobber threads are liable to be picked up for either a brief squash or a brief storyline. Note that several wrestlers have supposedly moved on to the main roster, and thus, will likely be removed from the above list. One name of note in the above list is the current nGw Champion Stu Grimes, who was last seen sinking beneath the ocean and has yet to be found. What this means for his reign as champion, remains to be seen.
The schedule for shows under nGw's banner typically falls under a strict rule: PPV names are absurd and ridiculous and based entirely on Bell Connelly's YouTube recommended feed. That is the only rule. As for the dates and times... Don't worry about it. It'll happen when it happens. For a brief comparison of previous nGw shows, you're welcome to take a look at the PDFs in the Archive thread for a taste.
nGw is set to return with a special 'Resolve, Restart, Reunite' show, wherein the primary players and feuds are recapped for the newer audience with a special 'New Blood' Battle Royal main event, wherein the winner will undoubtedly be in line for a future nGw Championship shot.
FWA & nGw are proud to bring you the next spotlight in today's professional wrestlers, set to begin airing on the WS Network soon!
-Out of character section-
Staffly notes:
Howdy howdy! So, this is less of an e-fed and more of a fun mini BTB using a combination of jobbers, disused characters, and actual wrestlers who are likely to one day 'graduate' to the main roster. The primary concept for nGw is as a place for characters who you might one day consider playing in the future in FWA, a place to get a bit more in-character experience to their name before the callup. In terms of promos, you don't have to do anything - all results and storylines are booked out by the staff team. Sure, you are more than welcome to submit suggestions or promos, but that is entirely optional. This is less of an e-fed and more of a fun little booking thing by a pair of idiots. Don't expect five-star matches and ten thousand word promos, expect brief match results and storylines that aren't quite as serious as they probably should be. It's the Dark to FWA's Dynamite, to punch a comparison in the jugular and laugh at it.
Finally, if you have a wrestler or character you might want to bring into FWA, but can't for whatever reason, or what have you - we're always happy to bring new characters on board until you decide to bring them in to FWA proper. Simply fill out the template below and post it in this thread.
