New Zealander Bob Edwards is still driving at the age of 105 - the oldest licensed driver in his country, and one of the oldest in the world.

Mr Edwards got his first license in 1925, at the age of 17, before emigrating from the UK to New Zealand two years later.

While he learned to drive in a car with a lever instead of a steering wheel, he now drives a four-wheel drive Mitsubishi, and is proud of his active lifestyle.

He takes the car to the local shop three times a week to buy food for the meals he cooks for his wife, who is 91.

"As far as I'm concerned, driving is a part of me,'' he told the Associated Press.

The oldest licensed driver in the world was Fred Hale Sr, who drove until his 108th birthday, according to Guinness World Records.
Forget the part about him being one of the oldest drivers ever, I love the fact that he's got a 91 year old wife. It just goes to show you that no matter how old we get, men are always going to be chasing those spring chickens!
