It's the reason the "don't try to confirm yourself by non-gameplay means" rule exists - I say that you've made your mark on the world when there's a lasting warning to not do what you did

In mafia, there is no neutral option. It's either positive or negative. Theme Spec is generally negative. Even if someone had theme knowledge, that isn't going to be an inherent advantage.

I completely disagree. I believe theme spec can be a positive in very certain situations, are those situations almost too specific? Yeah, why I wouldn’t go as far to call it an advantage but you can expect anything in these games. It’s better to at-least put a note on it for now to be taken off guard with a character reveal when it’s like “Oh of course that character would have that power.”

it’s nothing to lynch over obviously but it’s atleast something there. We gotta use everything we can as town, that is included. Also it’s not like this was the main reason why I asked, like Man mentioned it was literally just to get people to start talking and behold it’s worked.

Also, for clarification, you’re allowed to speculate they might be the postman character if they claimed they were a messenger role. What’s not allowed is for the person with the messenger role to confirm or deny that they are at the postman in the movie.

That being said, always be wary about hunting on flavor.

That's interesting, I'd call it scummier because of a similar reason - scum chat would get a lil bit of info and not feel the need to check all the details in the OP

I don't think it would really help the scum team though. Flavor hunting is just bad in every way tbh.
