Yeah, cause everyone has to be over 6'5'' to get your attention. I'm really starting to believe that big guys get you off or something.

I could watch dwarf wrestling at any carny show, I watch WWE for big guys not midgets who I could stuff in a locker.

LOL Tapout, quit trying to make it sound like people don't gravititate towards the freakishly big and no-sell the average Joes in pro-wrestling.

Hopefully this guy has some persoanlity and could work, only Aussie I remember who was in WWE wasNAthan Jones, and Aussie needs a better rep than that.

We have a pretty shocking track record. The problem is there is no main promotion here and hasn't been for decades. There are a few dozen smaller promotions but that is it so there aren't enough shows that the locals can wrestle to get to the level required. There isn't much exposure either for local wrestling here, you have to go out of your way to find out about them and until that changes it will be rare to see many Australians making it.

Yeah. It isn't a viable profession to go into. If I told someone on the streets I was an aspiring professional wrestler they would either laugh at me or have no idea what I'm talking about. There really isn't any reason to get into it unless you can get yourself over to America.

It's a shame too, because WWE is really popular and well known over here.

Before WWE returned for the Global Warning Tour, that drew 56,700 fans, wrestling was pretty much dead here. RAW was shown on Fox Sports but Smackdown was on again off again. I think that it is going to take some time before it grows again. I think one of the local promotions is shown on one of the community channels but they really need to get a deal with one of the free to air networks or even one of their digital channels. Until there is money going into local wrestling it won't be a viable choice because you can't make any money and you can't wrestle every week here.

Would be good if WWE put in some money to help set up a promotion here that covers all of Australia and that is a place where local wrestlers can go and wrestle fulltime.
