I'm not really diggin' the idea of dropping Survivor Series, I've watched everyone since its inception, and as a kid then throughout the 90's, I thought this was the best ppv behind wrestlemania. It's pretty lame that one bad showing in buyrates can result in it being discarded.

I do however like the battle bowl concept. I remember WCW doing one, I think it might have been halloween havoc '91 or '92. Not quite sure on the actualy date of it, but I liked it then, and maybe if it worked, we'd see some inceptions of new teams, you know cuz, well there ain't no teams.

As for the draft PPV? WTF??? Why pay 50 bucks to see something lame when we can get all the lameness of the draft for free on Raw. Besides, in today's day and age with the inter-brand stuff, do roster splits really exists?

WWE's 2009 financial results revealed a sharp decline in the 2009 Survivor Series PPV buyrate (down 26% from 2008) while the company's new gimmick-themed events (Hell in a Cell, Bragging Rights, TLC) all did better than their 2008 counterparts.

Vince McMahon stated during this morning's WWE conference call that the WWE Survivor Series title is "obsolete" and has "outlasted its usage." He said WWE does not intend on using the name moving forward.

No shit. The build up to SS this year was terrible. Plus including the fact that they made the SS concept pointless having the Bragging Rights ppv right before it.

Some of those new ideas are just dumb. Legends? Battle Royal? Sure lets have another ppv that's like the Rumble and make that pointless as well. Money in the Bank? I'd rather not see the John Cena's, the Triple H's, the Tista's and the Taker's in the that match. Street Fight? You just had a street fight on ECW and stopped the fucking match for a cut. Tornament? King of the Ring anyone?

WWE Draft, KOTR and Roulette don't sound so bad. KOTR would obviously be the best replacement.

Some of these ideas are awful, but there are a few I wouldn't mind seeing. The Money In The Bank PPV idea sounds cool, War Games obviously would be great to see, and I like the tournament idea.

Survivor Series > all this, sad to see it gone :(

War Games is awesome IMO. Get that and bring back KoTR.

War Games Event: Teams of 5 collide in 2 cages. 2 participants begin the match with a new participant added every 5 minutes. This process is alternated between teams until all members from both teams are present.)

War games should take place in November its a good idea. Or a KOTR type tournament, thanksgiving season should have a traditional ppv. A Kotr and war games is a good fit.

Tournament Event: Single elimination "bracket style" tournament where Superstars would compete in multiple matches during the night to become the tournament winner.

So Basically, KOTR. KOTR is a great concept in that it made a new star. Brock Lesnar was a good example of that. The ones they've done on TV were a joke. KOTR is a proven PPV Concept. It would work.

Street Fight Event: Main events would include"street fight" matches where there are no disqualifications and pin-falls count anywhere. Superstars often compete in normal street clothes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that what One Night Stand now Extreme Rules Basically is? We need two of these basically a year? No thanks.

Legends Event: Match participants would include WWE Legends from the past.

WCW had a PPV called Slamboree and usually featured a match where they would bring in two legends who had a fued history to have a match. It was crap. WCW eventually stopped the Legends match as part of this show, but wow, WWE should not be touching this idea at all.

Money in the Bank Event: The main event "Money in the Bank" match requires Superstars to climb a ladder and retrieve a briefcase hung high above the ring. The winner can "cash in" the briefcase for a championship title shot throughout the year. Qualifying matches earlier in the event will determine participants for the "Money in the Bank" match.

Okay, we know MITB is a proven concept. Its always in most peoples top 3 reasons to watch Mania every year. That said do you want to take that out of Mania? Also if your going to take it out of Mania, you need to decide this quickly as Mania is just around the corner and qualifying for MITB needs to start soon for that. Finally with qualifying earlier in the night you then have (assuming they stick to 8 participants) 9 matches on one PPV just for the MITB, this means no title matches (which isn't always a bad thing) but leaves no room for anyone else on the card. So MITB which usually features the younger future champions of the company suddenly start featuring guys like John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, Triple H & Shawn Michaels? The concept of MITB once again is to create your next big star. Having it as a one night event could ruin that.

WWE Draft Event: WWE's annual Draft where Superstars and Divas learn which brand they'll be a part of for the next year. The Draft is often the beginning of new conflicts and matchups.

No. This is best for 3 hour specials of Raw. No one is going to pay money to watch people drafted to different shows.

Battle Bowl Event: Random tag-teams compete together - sometimes arch rivals - with the winning teams being put in a 2-ring Battle Royal. The winner could potentially receive a championship title match.

I used to love Battle Bowl back in WCW. I would love the WWE to use it, but again this might be better for a 3 Hour Raw then a PPV. Especially, if its going to be the November PPV. Do you really want that and then 2 months later the Royal Rumble?

Roulette Event: Main event match stipulations would be determined by the spin of a roulette-type wheel.

Before Raw roulette there was Spin the Wheel Make the Deal as part of WCW's Halloween Havoc PPV. Where at the begining of the PPV, the challenger for the WCW Title would spin a wheel and whatever the gimmick match that came up thats what the Main Event Title Match would be. Well its kinda silly. Again better concept for a 3 hour Raw.

War Games Event: Teams of 5 collide in 2 cages. 2 participants begin the match with a new participant added every 5 minutes. This process is alternated between teams until all members from both teams are present.)

War Games again a match from WCW as part of there September Fall Brawl PPV. There is a couple problems with this. 1) Elimination Chamber was always WWE's concept. Plus TNA has really taken that concept anyways with Lethal Lockdown. 2) Again if this is the November PPV, in October there is Hell in a Cell PPV. So two big cage events back to back? No thanks.

I said the same thing. Bragging Rights was a dumb idea just before Survivor Series. It should have been incorporated into Survivor Series.

Liking the sound of these...

Tournament Event: Single elimination "bracket style" tournament where Superstars would compete in multiple matches during the night to become the tournament winner.

Chuck a title shot in for the winner on their respective brand and we got a nice return to KOTR-style awesomeness.

Liking this to a degree cos MITB doesn't seem that big a deal at Mania anymore to me and I would rather have room for matches with a bit more 'meaning'/storyline at WM. With the MITB PPV idea I fear it would end up being the Cena's, Edge's, Ortons etc. of this world dominating said new PPV. If, however, it could still somehow be kept to newer guys winning through and getting the title shot then it would make for a nice twist on the tournament concept.

War Games Event: Teams of 5 collide in 2 cages. 2 participants begin the match with a new participant added every 5 minutes. This process is alternated between teams until all members from both teams are present.)

As long as the matches are linked to feuds, storylines or titles then this would obviously be welcome, but otherwise it'll pretty pretty inconsequential like so many SSeries PPVs over the years. Same as Bragging Right's... Beyond the next few weeks on TV it don't mean shit.

Didn't they create the Elimination Chamber as their own version of War Games? I would definitely go MITB event. However I think they will have two, just like Elimination Chamber, one for Raw and one for Smackdown. That takes the suspense and the curiosity out of it because they wouldn't be able to take the other brand's title.

Elimination Chamber, Hell In A Cell AND War Games matches? Overkill much. That basically means once every 4 months we have an all steel cage themed PPV, that's far too much.

I'd much rather have them bring back King of the Ring or Battle Bowl. I honestly wouldn't mind a Roulette PPV. Because it's been so long since they've done one of those I think a PPV event of it would be flashy and interesting and most of all, unpredictable.

That had terrible buyrates, so I don't think the fans want to see it at all.

I'd love to see KOTR return. All the rest are shit.
