Alright, well I'll tell you what I think of this right now.


This is going to get stale quick, and it will be a loss of money in both production of the show, and less buy rates for old pay per views. Why the hell would you televise your matches, also, this is like UFC Unleashed XBA, but isn't that, and this just like uh wait let me think? WWE 24/7? I mean come on, if you wan't to give WWE a run for their money, and not a chuckle, you make fans pay for it. Purchase sattelite, and buy the program. Its running swell from what I've heard with the WWE. But yes, this may give their fan base a sugar rush of some sorts, but will quickly die down. How many 'entertaining' matches in TNA are their. I can probably only name around 20-35. Thats about half a year I do believe.

I actually agree with you there. It would be more profitable, and more beneficial in the long run if they make you pay for the matches. WWE 24/7 doesn't look like it's in any trouble, and that's basically the premise of what TNA has for this show.

But how is it going to bring new fans in? What they're seeing is the past. If they tune in to watch an episode of Impact, what they saw in a match 3-4 years ago would be radically different from what they have currently.

Yeah, but the true wrestling fan in which is absent of knowledge prior to TNA's history would enjoy catching up so to say on TNA's past. I know I would tune in just for that. I hardly knew about the Wednessday night pay per views, and the whole Asylum episodes. But virtually your right, it won't add a monsterous amount of more fans, but I do believe it will gain some. As for them being oblivious to TNA's current events, doesn't the past seem much better to watch because present day TNA really blows :grin:.

Maybe the Smart thing is first let it be free so fans see what they can get. Let them know its only a free preview and all that. Then after say a week or so maybe a month it goes to where its say about 8 or 9 dollars a month. See give them a little dose of what they will get with it so that way fans will be ready for it.

I think it would be kinda dumb to have to pay for it, or have to pay anywhere near where WWE 24/7 is costing. TNA has only ben active going on 7years only. WWE on the other hand has been established since the 30's 40's maybe, they have decades of stuff they can air. They also have WCW and ECW stuff in which they can air. 6 decades of their own show, and two other promotions that they have in their arsenal. Letting it be free would be good, but when you bring up paying for it, it shouldn't cost that much. Like said above, $6 $7 dollars, $10 maybe i guess but no where near what 24/7 is charging. I don't even know what they charge btw.

The fact TNA has only been around since 2006 is what is going to make this show complete and utter shite.

Now I am not denying there will be one or two good episodes every once in a while but most of the time it will mostly be random 3 minute X-Division matches from iMPACT because matter of the fact is if TN was to show all of their biggest moments straight away this show would never last and even with the good matches scattered it still probably won't last.

I doubt they would make a profit at all or going to. But If the package was 4 or 5 bucks a month I definitely would pay to see classic matches as long as they don't over-dilute the product with "S.E.X." storylines and whatnot. This will only be on for a year at absolute maximum anyway so it would only turn out to be about the price of a few ROH DVDs. Having said that i'm glad it's free and it probably won't last long in it's current format.

It will actually help the company a lot considering it's production values. It will also generate some extra revenue for TNA and attract new fans.

Okay so lets say it attracts new fans, of course there are gonna be adverts for Impact. So when they watch Impact, what will they think? Is this the same company? Are we watching the right channel?
