New Match Ideas?

I know there are a lot of match types and stipulations out there, but are there any you thought of that don't exist?

They have had just about anything I could think of, specially when they still had hardcore matches being a thing (nails/broken glass on the mat type matches). I mean I am sure you can tweak one they have now to make it slightly more interesting or at least refresh it.

What are some new match type/stipulations that you would introduce in to the WWE?

Not big on hardcore stuff, being squeamish, but I love Aztec Warfare from LU. Royal Rumble but you can go out by pin or submission too, 20 man. Championship Scramble needs to come back too.

I always did ridiculously stupid matches with action figures when I was younger. One of them was a jungle gym match with a title at the top, first to get it wins. Another was a "Trifecta" match which was basically a triple threat ladder match (woops). My favorite was pretty much Survivor Series, except there would be three rings and the partners would be on the far rings while two competitors would fight in the center. There were no tags, you fought until you were eliminated and won when the other team was gone.

I think it's obvious that I would make Vince Russo proud and Jim Cornette cry

A Believers Backlash match.

Lucha Underground has been doing this for the past three seasons and it's fun. How does it work? Well, the fans surround the ring as lumberjacks with weapons that they may use on wrestlers at will, if they wind up outside of the ring.

And as already mentioned, an Aztec Warfare kind of match would be nice.

Also, this isn't really a new match idea... But, I would like for cage matches to be revamped.

I'm a fan of the concept, but I'd love to see a cage match that actually keeps people inside and the only way to win is via pinfall or submission.

I hate how the cage is constantly referred to as "it is designed to keep people inside", yet you can win by escaping. That is hella lame.

One way to revamp it could be like a mini hell in a cell, on the inside of the ropen and only like 7 feet tall, just tall enough to fit most wrestlers. And have the ref on the outside. No escaping the ring, no using weapons....kinda like an mma style I guess. with a roof.

Ok, the match will start with the ring being surrounded by poison ivy. The competitors will need to find a billy goat scruff and put them back in their cages. The catch, we're not gonna tell 'em where it is. Bro, we're not telling them where the billy goat is, bro. Then, the first wrestler to leave the arena and tuck their kids in goodnight is da winner of da match. I SWEAR TO GAWD, THEY'RE GONNA LOVE IT!

WWE needs to bring in the captains fall elimination match gimmick.

Basically your standard elimination multiman tag like say at Survivor Series. But you can only win if you pin the captain of either team. So you could end the match at the first pinfall, last pinfall, or anything in between

Or go full Onita and bring in the exploding barbed wire no ropes match

A non-Russo answer, an elimination ladder match where you do not just need to worry about grabbing the title from above the ring, but you can be eliminated from the match by pinfall or submission at any time. Pretty much the "King of the Mountain" match done right!

OOOH also.... Christmas tree match where you have to use a ladder to put the star on to win but there is presents under the tree with weapons
