I maybe have enjoyed this Shibata/Ishii match even more than the WK one. Haven't decided yet, nor do I intend to. My love for Shibata grows even bigger as he brings the spinning backhand slap, the move which got me into puro, back. The main event was disappointing. I think they went waaay too slow for the build up the match had. I'm actually hoping something comes out of that Nagata promo... It seems pretty likely Tencozy are going to challenge GBH, but I hope Nagata gets something to do as well. Him vs Shibata for the NEVER title would be a marvelous match full of hatred. Sydal and Ricochet winning was obviously a big surprise, and I marked out, but I really don't have high expectations in the long run. Another junior tag match where reDRagon got protected, and I have no problem believing Sydal and Ricochet are just going to drop the straps to the Bucks on the next show just like RPG did last year. Got to see Tama Tonga win a belt, but the fact he and his dad aren't challenging for the tag titles makes me sad. Had fun with New Beginning, totally worth waking up at 6 to watch it.

As for Niigata, I'm intrigued by the result of the main event (which should be fun), GBH match should be alright if it's anything close to their WK match, there's a chance we get NAKANISHI AND RICOCHET doing stuff and I look forward to MMA legend Sakuraba stretching and tapping MMA geek poser Kaile O'Reilly. Should be fun if they get a program out of the tag match.

Not quite, still has to clear tests. If he fails his match with Sami will be a one off.

The New Beginning In Osaka was good, although the booking of the Juniors tag division continues to be a farce.

The undercard was solid to good.

LOL'd at the silly title changes when it comes to the NEVER Six-Man titles, as well as the Jr. tag titles. Yup, nobody expected 'em!
I mean... On one hand, I wanna be happy for Ricochet and Sydal, but on the other, they'll drop it shortly. Sooo... :quimby:

Shibata vs Ishii was bloody fantastic and MOTN. I adored this match. Not sure if I loved this one more or the WK one. F A N T A S T I C stuff!

Okada vs Goto was a pretty damn good ME. Goto's paintjob was awesome! Also, that final Rainmaker, though! Damn.

Looking forward to the Niigata show, as the last three matches on the card should deliver!
