Yeah, that's probably never going to happen ever again. Only possible way it might happen is during the HHH reign, but WWE wants to thoroughly distance itself from any other promotion.

Thing is that WWE will only ever work with a company for their benefit. Indy promotions like ICW, Progress and formerly EVOLVE gained some exposure from the working relationship with WWE and in return, WWE was able to grow their own NXT UK or NXT brand by both taking talent and letting talent work their shows. NJPW, AEW and Impact are all too big for WWE to work together: They see them as too much of a threat and don't want them to benefit in any way, shape or form. I know there was news once of WWE approaching AJPW in regards to starting up NXT Japan but who knows where that went.

Lukewarm on Bateman jobbing to Ren. I mean I get it and it was nice of him to do it but I think someone else should have jobbed if they're trying to push Narita. Plus Narita still looks like a Young Lion even though they said he wasn't so he really should get a fresh character unless they're trying to do the Shibata thing with him.

I enjoyed the Jr. Tag Title Match even though it was a hot mess. Both teams delivered a great match anyway and I'm glad Ishimori/Phantasmo won but I also think that they are both big time Jr. singles instead of tag guys but they don't have much variety in the Jr. tag scene anymore so I guess they had to do something.

I'm really not all that high on Bateman so I think he was a great guy for the situation but I see where you're coming from

And the thing is, I'm a fan of Taiji and Phantasmo but oh man the shenanigans in that one were just too much lol overall I'd still rate the match as enjoyable despite them tho

It's not a Phantasmo Match without shenanigans though. Lio Rush debuts on NJPW Strong on Friday!

Yeah, I was really excited for the NXT Japan project. I think I read a report that said that the pandemic put a clamp on the project. I sincerely hope they go back for it, when everything opens up.

The NJPW television deal in the United States and United Kingdom has been finalized Dave Meltzer reported an update on the new television deal in this week's

"nothing major" doesn't really bother me but it's not like AXS was major by any means I imagine this might be an even more obscure channel or possibly some streaming service

Tanahashi/Shingo HOLY SHIT What a main event bro. Ospreay/Kojima was a lot of fun too, bit weird seeing the no DQ stip in NJPW but I liked it a lot for that match as long as it stays fairly rare.
