New images for Neighborhood Watch
Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller and Richard Ayoade team up…

It's time for the Men in Black to move over, as local schlubs Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller and Richard Ayoade are carrying the fight to the worst scum of the universe in a set of new images for Neighborhood Watch.

The new comedy from Superbad writing duo Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg sees the aforementioned funny men playing a quartet of suburban dads who enlist in the local neighbourhood watch scheme in order to get out of their domestic responsibilities.

However, what starts as an excuse to escape the house soon turn into something far more serious, as our heroes begin to discover a host of invading aliens have infiltrated their community and are posing as their friends and neighbours.

The new images show the four buddies looking badass as they patrol the streets, before showing them looking slightly less composed as they cling on to what looks like some kind of alien technology.

Directed by Saturday Night Live graduate Akiva Schaffer, Neighbourhood Watch will open in the UK on 29 August 2012. How those marauding aliens cope with the inevitable barrage of dick jokes remains to be seen...

Ayoade is hilarious enough on his own to make this worth watching.
