Good call maybe? He seemed out of it (disinterested) in the match last night and I can't say I blame him. He's a talented dude who has been spinning his wheels doing the same shit for 4 years now. He was probably backstage like "fuck this. 3 week transitional champ for a title that means nothing. who gives a fuck"

Perfect way to start his promo, minus the fucks.

Cesaro sounds good for obvious reasons. Wyatt doesn't need it and Ohno is finding himself as a face on NXT so I'd hold off on that. RVD seems plausible due to him being unemployed and having said he'll wrestle on either TNA or WWE again a few months back, and Kofi is an awesome, awesome idea. Not sure how they could do the turn (although there are various good plausible scenarios) but him saying he's tired of playing by WWE's rules (ala AJ Styles) or something and that has cost him his title (since he was helping WWE against Shield, and a vigilante who attacks everyone from behind got a shot at him, it's an idea) or even that they have been holding him back, it's great. Which is why they won't do it, but if this does happen I have a hard time seeing this go bad. Unless it's Mason Ryan or Ezekiel Jackson or something.
