But I figured this way would still let you do two if you wanted to. It still doubles your chance at having the beat promo overall. Just not combined.

Yeah i get that too and like I said sometimes i do find it more effective to split a long promo in 2 parts. In this case I'd be better off writing a long one so it all counts , which really is nbd any ways. I do see the value in fairness here as well.

Like for example I'd have tacked on my 2nd promo to my first under this system as its two scenes in the same chapter, if that makes sense, as opposed to two stories

For sure. It would probably make sense to just write bigger and better single promos. Just remember it’s still quality over length of promo as well.

This rule also mainly tackles the tag team issue.

So someone handling two characters only has to promo a single tag team promo and not two promos.

^ which isn't a problem going forward btw! Just as long as this implemented fir future shows as obviously wouldn't be super Fajr doing that after the promo deadline

Yeah the tag rules needed tweaking regardless because we have teams of one and teams of 2 users n that obviously needs to be balanced and I agree that it should be best promo wins if there's an imbalance in players. Only time I'd consider more is if we have 4 players in a 2 v 2 n one team has the best promo but also the worst promo lol

This will be a very rare scenario tho

I personally think this would be the best overall option.

The other is the 1 promo rule, but I always liked people having the option of writing more if they wanted.

Just do it in the most fair way possible.

If it’s one team at the best and the worst I’d probably allow that to factor in in that rare circumstance.

If it’s two and two and one team has both the best and worst and the other team has better promos than the worst, you could probably factor that in, but they’d both should be significantly better the worst one and the best promo shouldn’t be significantly better, just a little.

As i said above that's great then. I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. And I agree w u that if a promo stands head and shoulders above then it shouldn't be too punished by a lazy partner anyways.

The other option I’m thinking is you can post more than one promo but the graders will look at the totality of your promos and think of it as a single promo and put it up against the other person promo going to still going based off of quality over quantity and they just don’t factor in how many promises just factor in the overall quality of all the promos together I guess.
