Here was Eric Bischoff's comments they were talking about. He does make sense.

The one bright spot about Retribution is this...

They’re in masks right now. As long as they’re not unmasked, they can be recycled and saved after this angle is over. WE know it’s Dijak, WE know it’s Dio, WE know it’s Mia. Not all the casual fans know that. A year from now, if this angle shits the bed, you can reintroduce them to the main roster as themselves.

I think Retribution is trash and Eric isn't to blame for WCW's demise all that much........but it was also still funny to me too so I'm with Sabs here :lol

Their twitter game is my favorite thing about them because it’s so absurd that it’s funny at the same time

This would be a good way out. Just as long as they don't get unmasked during the course of this. I'm just not to positive that the current writers have enough knowledge on the wrestling industry, not to somehow do something crazy like that. I could see some first year writer, having the huge blowoff as an unmasking. That would almost kill the wrestlers future potential story archs, by being with something so atrocious. Dancing Tank Abott and Braden Walker (Chris Harris) comes to mind for me. However it isn't impossible to come back from something lame. I mean, the Rock started out as a goof ball with a bad haircut.

I think it Aces and Eights honestly. TNA wanted to make Garrett Bischoff and Wes Briscoe into something. They should’ve never unmasked them and made them geeks

I think WWE are committed to Retribution’s push right now so either they manage to salvage it or scrap it and turn the individual members into solo stars under different names. No biggie lol
