Never Say Never [MLW] - March Event #6 Results
Never Say Never was the scheduled final event to take place in the month of March, and with only three matches to predict it could prove to be a chance for Adapting to close the gap to Chris. In can confirm that as soon as Adapting posted his predictions, they were the same as Chris's which means that Chris has already claimed the March Cup. The truth of the matter is that because of how results went, even if Adapting had picked differently it wouldn't have helped him in closing the gap. The real focus for a lot of people though, whether people would like to admit it or not was to contest for the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship. In this instances, I will remind everyone the rules regarding the championship:
- everyone is eligible to win the belt - irrespective of how many times they have taken part in the WPC
- if more than two people are tied tied in 1st place - the belt is vacated
- the challenger has the advantage part one - if two predictor are tied for 1st, the champion loses the tie
-the challenger has the advantage part two - if two predictor are tied for 1st (and the champion is not present in the tie) - then the lowest ranked predictor wins the tie
For this event, HoHo, Jimmy King and MachoDan both joined a list previous only held by Chris, Carter and Adapting of claiming a perfect round by going 3-0. However, because more than two people tied in 1st place, the belt is vacated meaning that Adapting's second reign has now come to an end. The complete results from the event are shown below:
