Not only did Neve secure the bag to come back, and Kevin Williamson is finally directing his own Scream film, but the script has a story by Vanderbilt and being written by guy Busick. The two writers from the previous two films. This is a full collaboration from the OG and new films.

I think the window on that has passed. I think the time to do that would have been four when she ewes marketing her book.

Like I said this would have worked in 4 as she was still haunted by the past and needed to write a book to get past it, but by 5 she’s an entirely different person. She’s no longer haunted and perfectly capable of keeping control of the situation. Her demeanor after 5 ends is a completely centered person.

Also, she now has a husband and children at home. The reason she didn’t appear in New York for 6. She’s not snapping outside protecting her family. The window is closed.

No doubt did they bring three or four Trucks full of money to bring Neve back. I love Scream as we all do in this Thread but they are going to really need to create some interesting stuff for me to care about Scream 7. The chaos with Ortega and Barrera really stunk up the joint going into this one but good to know theirs some kind of positivity going on right now.
