Need help with my PS3

Ok so i just got my PS3 yesterday. I imported a few songs from Eminem's Encore album. But every time i imported a song it would create a new album. I tried coping the tracks to another album but it said something about media savers. Now can someone tell me what i need to do to add more than one track to an album?

Click the triangle button on the song and move the cursor down to "album" and type in the name of the album...I hope that helps

Some games support them some don't...I know MLB08: The Show does and also SVR 09 will also support it...but that's all on the games not the system

All right now i have a new problem. I can't get my PS3 online. It keeps saying there is a DNS error. But i put my DNS numbers in. In case anyone is wondering i am using a wired connection and i did indeed change my settings to wired connection.

Ok, so pull out the power cable on your modem and put it back in and then do all the connection settings automatically and do a test if it doesn't work then try it again and if it doesn't work after three times and it doesn't work then that's the problem.

If that does happen to be the problem, if you put the wire back into your computer then you will have to do that process everytime you swap it from computer to ps3 and back so it does get annoying.

There's an update coming out soon that will allow any song on your PS3 to play on any game you are playing.

they've been saying that since it was released. but the official update that's gettin an in-game XMB should be 2.4(the one we're on now is 2.36). which is again, supposedly released very soon.

If I was any of you..idk if there is a newer update since I last got mine but my cousin got one and now none of his games will play...and when I go to my grandma's 2morrow I'll take it and see what my update I got is...and if there is a new one...I'm not gonna get it...

You have to get the updates to play online. Obviously something messed up in his machine. But I get all the updates because my Folding@HOME thing wont work without the update as it cannot access the internet. But I also like to play madden and such online. But I cant wait for the in game XMB update, and the one that I can listen to music. But I just solve that problem and i have a double cable thing into my surround sound so my music in the surround sound plays off a CD and the PS3 sound plays, then when there is a cut scene i just pause it, i dont need the pS3 to do it, im not that lazy lol. but if a free update comes along, I may just roll with it. but i have too many movies on my ps3 to have enough music lol
