Need computer help!

my windows vista uses a normal, plug-in keyboard. one day, it stopped working so now i have to use the annoying on screen keyboard. plz help!

when i used a plug-in keyboard and it stopped, i would just unplug it and after a few seconds plug it back in..always worked for me.
or maybe there's a problem with the keyboard plug itself?

Did you try unplugging the keyboard and putting the USB into a different USB port?

The keyboard is plugged into the back of the computer, dont know if that will work. And how exactly would you clean it without destroying the circuits?

Just unplug it, run it under your bath faucet, then give it a day to dry out.
