What are your guys' prediction?

I say 17-13, LSU, cementing one of the greatest wire-to-wire seasonal performances by a team.

I hope ESPN is happy. Why couldn't this game have been on ABC anyway?
BCS championship game lowest rated title in BCS era

APLast night’s national championship rematch between No.2 (now No. 1) Alabama and No. 1 (now No. 2) LSU, while a great game for the Tide, was a bust on the TV ratings scale.

The rematch of the “Game of the Century” drew a 13.8 overnight rating on ESPN, the lowest rating for a BCS championship game since Miami-Nebraska pulled a 14.3 at the 2002 Rose Bowl.

Some apparently boycotted last night’s game by not watching it. Some just turned it off when it became clear that 1) Alabama was going to kick their way to a victory and/or 2) the game itself wasn’t exciting.

In all, BCS games saw a 10 percent drop in ratings from a year ago.

In a related story, the BCS is set to meet today to discuss possible changes to the postseason format. I’m guessing these numbers will eventually, if not today, be addressed.

There needs to be a definite change to the BCS set up. I didn't mind the rematch. I figured more points would be scored... just thought LSU would have at least scored.

But BCS needs a new look and everything.

LSU was almost untouchable in the regular season. Then they came to the national championship and it was like they forgot how to play.

I just read Joe Paterno is dead.

This fuckin' scandal blowing up in his face pretty much killed his will to live. Thanks media.

This is sad but it's one of the few deaths that don't really shock me at all cause I knew the minute he stopped coaching he would feel like what's the point of living since that was pretty much all he lived for.

Yeah after he was fired... it was a matter of time before he passed. But the sad thing about it all... people are going to look more towards the scandal than to all the things he managed to accomplish with Penn State for all those years. They will be judgmental and everything.

He just lost the will to continue fighting after he was no longer coaching at his school. May he rest in peace.
