Dubs just dealt RJ & Beans to Utah to clear up space.. then signed Iggy to a 4 year deal. Pretty sure they are going to do a S&T w/ LA now for Bogut and Barnes.

That team isn't a contender lmao.

Dwight fucked up. We could have been elite with him, Houston is a 5/6 seed at best with his ass.

Howard is good, and got to the finals with the magic, but I think he is a tad overrated.

Meanwhile, rumors circling that Lebron and Melo will opt out of their contracts nxt year. Unless Amare retires the Knicks have 0 cap room, and wouldn't doubt seeing Melo kick rocks.

Disagree completely. This def makes the rockets a contender. Allows for parsons and harden to be super aggressive on defense because they have the best rim protector in the league and will give them both a lot more room on offense because teams will have to double Dwight in the paint. If they can trade asik for some depth they will be a top 4 team in the west.

Why would they trade Asik? If you think that improves the team, you're wrong. Having Asik back up the foul-prone Dwight and maybe even playing them together can beb fantastic! They wouldn't be able to get much depth at all

I understand that, but sucks for him

They signed Camby, Asik won't be there for long. Houston never wanted to or intended to keep Asik around IMO. They just thought his value should be higher when they were shopping him, so they publicly said they weren't going to trade him in hopes of somehow boosting his value.

I'm so bummed that Camby was signed... he's still starting caliber IMO

Still starter quality? His once bad offensive game is now pathetically hilariously sad. He shot 32% from the floor and 42% FTs. I realize offense was never his strong suit, but you can't play a guy more than 15 MPG when that is what he brings to the offense. Defensively he isn't what he once was either. He is still solid, but not a world beater like he used to be.
