Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Denver is smoking some good shit if they expect the Nets to give up 5 picks, Favors, and Murphy for a Melo rental

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

I'm pretty sure you cant trade your 1st rounder in consecutive years too, so I don't think Denver really wants a 2015 1st rounder or some shit. They do have all of those picks from Houston and shit, though.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

You can trade your own consecutive 1sts, you just have to wait for the next season to begin to do so. Case and point, what the Lakers did in the Sasha trade

Nets have LA's first, Houston's first, and their first I believe. They would just have to give up their 2013 first and possibly another one. It is still too much though since Melo doesn't want to play with Harris and/or Lopez enough to sign any extension.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

If Denver pulled that off then their GM deserves an award.

With those picks, Favors, and the cap space they would have from Billups, Nene, Martin, Murphy, and JR all expiring he would deserve a statue.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

kobe is the only one over 1 million, damn. Completely undeserving based on his play so far. But that is why I hate all star games, they never give it to the guys who deserve it like Drew brees getting in over Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning getting in over matt Cassel.

The Western Conference centers is a joke, Pau should be placed there considering it is where he started all year long.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Pau and Duncan both have played there, and it is most likely that Pau will start there. Yeo making the team is for the best as it lets the coaches add in a replacement and choose a starter for that spot.

Kobe has the highest point per minute ratio in the league and is the only top 10 scorer to play less than 38 minutes. Doesn't hurt that he is the biggest draw in the league and most marketable player globally either.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Is Howard really letting Gallo check him one on one in the post?
