It really is smarter to lock up the rights to foreign guy X who you like and then pick an undrafted college guy or two and try to persuade them to play for a spot. WOuld be a lot tougher to talk to Chrsfhudifhoslednf SchWnekhrbebejhbejk on the open market.
With no summer league it will be harder for the undrafted guys to get a spot

We have a trade to announce:

The Boston Celtics send Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson to the OKC Thunder for Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic, and a first round pick.

Say it Adam, you know you want to

And the NBA lockout is officially about to happen smh. This is beyond Blue to have two of the major sports in America both locked out at the same time.

Ohio-Based Lady Sues Kobe Bryant For Not Marrying Her

<a href="http://deadspin.com/people/jackdickey/" target="_blank"> Jack Dickey — Kobe Bryant has five rings. But now one litigious soul is livid that she didn't get one from him.
According to the OC Weekly, Selina Miller, who has addresses in both Santa Monica and Columbus, said Bryant gave her a signed contract in May saying they would marry. (Sounds plausible so far!)
But then Kobe totally broke that contract by not giving Miller a ring, she says! (Can Matt Barnes sue him for the same thing?) The relief her suit recommends? A ring from Kobe.
Miller also stated why the National Basketball Association (NBA) superstar might not have given her a ring: "The defendant, Kobe Bryant, states he communicated with person [sic] stating Selina Miller is a prostitute."
Reached by telephone, Miller claimed that Bryant has repeatedly visited her for intimate relations.
"He likes playing games with women more than people know," said Miller. "I'm upset because he promised me a ring [during one visit] and then some other people influenced him and I didn't get it. He thinks he can stop by my house anytime he wants to. There are other women, too. One of them got a ring."
She also mentioned that someone—it's unclear who exactly—"has a sexual transmitted disease."
Miller sued Kobe before, in 2009, and a judge dismissed that suit as frivolous. Somehow we don't expect this one to go too much further.
