Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

His constant shit talking and the look he makes when he is hitting pisses me off, and has even in his Atlanta days. With that said, he earned the right to talk shit, make jet motions, and put on that damn face. I can respect what he did and his game, but he has always bugged the fuck out of me.

This face right here:

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Basically, since reports were that she was the one pushing the Melo deal and moving Artest before the break anyway before she relented and gave the core a chance to 3 peat

Pau pissed me off again though when I just read him say, he needs to learn how to keep his off court problems, off the court and not bring it on it. The dumb fuck realized that 4 losses too late

Yeah, Pau needs to have all of his off-court stuff taken care of. People who have off-court troubles that affect them on the court should be traded.

So, you've traded 2003 Kobe Bryant, right?

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Don't you think you should try to separate the two instead of moping and half assing it?

Kobe and Shaq fought like cats and dogs but on that court they went to work and kicked ass. Kobe during Colarado came back and hit game winners and dropped 40 on the Spurs, on the same day as he was in court. Fisher came flying back from his daughter having surgery on her eyes because of cancer and killed the Warriors in the playoffs. Odom played some of the best ball of his career after his son sadly died of SIDS, up until he hurt his knee back in 07. MJ led his team to a 3rd title after his dad was murdered. Carmelo came back and dropped a huge double double, while locking up Durant after his sister died.

The court should be a place where you can channel every frustration, emotion, and feeling you have. It is disrespectful to the game of basketball, your teammates, and a franchise if you let your effort be dictated by off the court issues.

I could honestly give Pau a pass if he was out there and trying to play hard. He could play horrid as long as he literally gave an effort and didn't just show up. There were just too many times where he got beat by Landry, Dirk, Aaron Gray, and those guys because he wouldn't run down the court, box out, or work and seal his guy in the post. It was just sad to watch a guy basically play 10 games almost like he didn't give a fuck and had checked out. That is why Staples booed him, former Lakers are killing him, and the media is hounding him.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Saddest/funniest thing to me isn't even the fact that he played like shit the whole playoffs, but the fact that he thought he was playing well while playing like shit.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Seems like it all hit him at once when the reality that they were eliminated hit. I think you can live in denial as long as the team is winning, but when it isn't and you literally are being pointed out, it all sets in. I still say he was smoking some good shit to think he played well though.
