Well with it being for the Allstar Break they have to make this weeks matchups 2 weeks long. So I'll end up playing against his full load for a week too.

Yeah that's how both my ESPN/Yahoo basketball leagues work I always thought it was standard to make it fair for both teams during these weeks.. It may be one of those changeable settings though so maybe not for your league.
It's kind of like in Hockey, they tend to open the season in the middle of the week so each of the hockey fantasy seasons 1st weeks were extended from 4 days to 11 days just to keep it as fair and as clean I suppose as possible.
