The National Wrestling Alliance has officially been sold to a new owner. Billy Corgan, lead singer and frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins, purchased the NWA in 2017 under his Lightning One parent company. Under his ownership, the NWA saw a slight resurgence in relevance pre-COVID Pandemic. The NWA was also seen on the CW App and on YouTube before airing on Twitter due to a lack of a broadcasting deal. Rumors of a potential sale began in October of 2024, but were confirmed by sources within the company in December. The new ownership group, helmed by eccentric millionaire Scott Anderson, is known as Anderson Capital Inc. Rumors within the company is that a "soft reset" of the roster may be ensuing in the next couple of days, with several talents out of work at the end of the week in an effort to rejuvenate the company and open up to potential broadcasting deals.

National Wrestling Alliance to Air on Tubi

The National Wrestling Alliance's parent company, Anderson Capital Inc. has announced today that NWA Powerrr will be airing on the Fox Corporation-owned streaming website, Tubi, beginning on January 20th with a special 3-hour edition of the NWA's flagship program. This will be the first broadcaster to pick up the much-beleaguered promotion since it was dropped unceremoniously by The CW App in September of 2024. Anderson Capital Inc. also made the announcement that every title will be defended on the program, which will be headlined by Thom Latimer defending his NWA World's Heavyweight Championship against "The Thrillbilly" Silas Mason. Sources within the company have also revealed that there may be a surprise appearance from newly signed talents.

Exciting to see an NWA BTB pop up in the section.

Best of luck with this! Excited to see what you can do and what the future holds for your version of the National Wrestling Alliance.

An aside, while not a necessity, how would folks feel about having pre-show/post-show "media scrums"/Q&A addendums for each major show where users can PM me any in-kayfabe questions they have about the company, talents, or long-term visions for the company where then I'll post in here as a fun little addition?

It's a cool idea and would allow us to know some of the characters a bit better of some of the wrestlers

It's nice to see a modern-day NWA project. I particularly admire that you are working with what you've been given rather than resetting it altogether. Yes, you've released a few names - interesting most of them have or had a backstage role within the company, so I wonder if that's connected? I was particularly surprised by Aron Stevens, whose probably one of the more recognisable names in the company. Homicide - given he had a good stint as the NWA Jr Heavyweight champion and then Austin Idol/Tim Storm, who I would assume would have some sort of role carved out for them given their legacies.

Again, I like the realism of trying to source a television/media deal that doesn't seem like a stretch, especially after the CW disaster, that feels like it set NWA back to the position they're in now. Tubi seems like a good fit, although I don't know whether there would be an appetite for a 3-hour show at this stage. I like that you've used this opportunity to book all the titles. Lord knows there's more than enough titles in NWA, and I'll be interested in seeing how you balance these belts, as well as non-title feuds when the regular weekly shows begin.

In terms of the actual matches themselves:

Silas Mason seems to be one of the few talents in NWA that has had a clear upwards trajectory over his tenure. I definitely feel that he should be a mainstay around the main event scene. However, Thom Latimer has just had this big moment in overcoming EC3, and as much as I think NWA needs to stop elongating title reigns, I do think it would be too soon for him to drop the belt. I also think Latimer - whether you like him or not - represents an established wrestler, who has history with the company, but can still hang in the current era. I think one of your main challenges in this project will establishing a lot of the unknown talents, but for readers who aren't as familiar with the talent, one of the first things they might notice is that a lot of talent look particularly 'indie'. Whether it's because he's been with NXT or TNA, Latimer doesn't fall victim to his. I don't think he needs a long reign, but it feels like he's a good person to bridge the CW era into the Tubi era...at least for now.

One of the few positives people give to NWA is the booking of it's women's division. I think Kenzie has come a long way in her career, though I don't think it was a great idea to give her such a long title reign when we had just been through a multi-year reign with Kamille, especially when Paige doesn't feel as credible in comparison to the Brickhouse. I know Haley J recently won the contendership IRL. I know she's had a long run with OVW up until recently, and appeared on AEW Dark, but I'm not overly familiar with her, so would be good to get to know her character. I feel like Kenzie will win on the basis that Haley is still relatively new.

Lord knows how they've done it, but for me, Colby Corino is one of the jewels in the crown on NWA. While his name is more established compared to Silas Mason, I think he represents another talent who the company should revolve around. I don't know whether this means he should take the title, because I don't know if Corino needs it, but I'd definitely like to see how you handle him.

This tag team title match feels very mid-2000s, but I would say that the Colons look to be in pretty decent shape and are recognisable names for casual wrestling viewers, who may be checking out the product. NWA loves Murdoch, and obviously he has his own history with the company as a Worlds Champion, so I think it would be a mistake to overlook him, just because he might not have been a big attraction in WWE. I sense that the champions will retain here. However, the tag team division does feel like it needs some more going on within it.

For the women's tag titles, I'm not sure if The King Bees have just been selected for the match of if they've earned a title match, but I would predict the champions retain again. I do think that there needs to be some more names in the women's tag division. I enjoy The King Bees, but I just feel like the It Girls have more character that would make them better to book for now, but should they lose the titles, I feel like the Ella Envy stranglehold on this division needs to move on.

I've always enjoyed the Lucky 7 rules with the World Television, which sets it apart from the other mid-card titles. CBD has overcome Max, so similarly to my point about Latimer and Mason, I don't see Misery taking the title here. I think Misery has potential, but when I mentioned certain talents looking particularly indie, he's one that springs to mind. CBD, again, has a character but given that the TV title is a tick to the World's Championship, I'm not too sure if he's the talent you want to put in line for the main event scene.

I was surprised to see the Women's World Television title wasn't actually unified in the end, but I honestly feel like I have no idea who Big Mama is even as champion. I know I've put every champion down as retaining so far, so perhaps I'd have Kylie go over to continue the tease we've seen in real life where Kylie could end up against her own sister.

The National Heavyweight title in my mind ranks above the Television title, and the other male singles titles. However, I don't feel like Mims is the guy who should be leading that division. I think Bryan Idol could take the win here, he has a good look to him and he's got some charisma. Again, with so many titles, it feels like there should be a logic to who should fit where in challenging for them. Perhaps the Television title is your young lions belt, while the National title is for those who have held the top title before, but might not currently be in the main event scene.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the US Tag titles also carries the same rules as the Television titles, right? I'm not sure how needed they are. I've never been sold by The Fixers - even though I respect the hustle of Jay Bradley managing to carve out a solid wrestling career, despite some very lukewarm runs across WWE and TNA. I think The Country Gentlemen retain here.

There are so many titles! Trying to catch up with NWA since it went to the CW app and returned to YouTube has been difficult, so I have no idea why the Mid-America title is back or why it's needed. Plunkett, I'm not sold on, but Lev to me is in a similar band to Alex Misery. I'll have Plunkett retain.

If my analysis hasn't painted enough of a picture, I think it's fair to say you've got my attention. I'm really excited to see where you take NWA, and whether there are any presentational changes to come. Good luck with this, I can't wait to read your first show.

EDIT: Oh in response to your question, and I think post-show scrums for big events, or segments similar to the old TNA ReAction shows could be useful in getting some characters across.

I actually wanna clarify that not every episode is going to be 3 hours, instead regular episodes of Powerrr will be closer to 90 minutes. Only special episodes will have a higher runtime, such as the Tubi debut currently being worked on, or the occasional holiday episode where a PPV doesn't coincide that month.

Oh no that was taken on board. That’s why I’m interested to see how you deal with the weekly shows with so much talent and a limited runtime compared to the specials. I just meant I don’t know how lucrative NWA is right now in this moment in time for a platform to give it 3 hours (for a debut special), Then again, it is streaming, so maybe the rules would be different if it’s not overrunning into anything.

Either way - I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.

However, we are in for many surprises tonight; one of them is the reveal of our new National Wrestling Alliance Commissioner! He is a former NWA World's Heavyweight Champion… a revolutionary in wrestling– This man has worked in Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, WWE, and in Total Nonstop Action! Ladies and gentlemen… I give you– RAVEN!”

The crowd cheers in delight as out comes Raven, clad in a black leather jacket & jeans, washed and worn, black gloves, and a National Wrestling Alliance shirt. He walks down to the ring and shakes Kyle Davis’ hand, before taking the microphone and beginning to speak.

Raven: “Alright, alright, alright– Allow me to get one thing straight, I was offered the position at the behest of the National Wrestling Alliance, and I promised that I intend to uphold order here in the NWA. I plan on keeping that promise; and I’ll be the first one to tell you that we are going to have marquee matches, great wrestling, and top-tier talent here for all of you! Without further ado, I don’t wanna hold up the show too much, why don’t we get to the matches, eh? For my part, I’ll be watching all of them tonight– Right next to my broadcast partner for the evening, Joe Galli!

Galli expresses “surprise” at learning that the new Commissioner of the NWA will be at the broadcast booth with him, but welcomes the extra announcer as Raven has a fountain of experience not only in the ring but on the mic as well.

NWA Mid-America Championship
Lev vs. Jeremiah Plunkett ©

The match begins with Lev showboating to the crowd, talking about showing people his truth, the new light of the NWA. Raven, on commentary, quips that Alexander Lev reminds him a bit of himself back in his WCW days; though Raven is quick to reassure that he still took matches seriously and it was all about psychological warfare rather than Lev's blatant self-aggrandizement. Plunkett has none of this, and he starts to sneak up behind Lev, getting his taped fist ready for the Killshot, his finishing knockout punch. Lev finally turns around, but sees Jeremiah reeling back for the punch and immediately scrambles out of the ring, and he is hot. How dare this man attempt to knock him out when he was proselytizing! Lev slaps the mat and angrily wags his finger at Plunkett but gets into the ring finally.

Both men finally lock up, with Lev overpowering and pushing Plunkett to a corner, before heelishly slapping Plunkett in the face as the ref tries to separate the two. This fires Plunkett up who goes after Lev, and we begin a back and forth series where Plunkett utilizes arm-wringers, arm-drags, and hip tosses to overcome Lev; Lev on the other hand utilizes high flying, underhanded tactics, and strikes to get back into it. Lev takes control after Plunkett misses a running clothesline which Lev counters into a backstabber; Plunkett goes down hard, and Lev goes for a pinfall, netting only two. Lev goes to climb up to the top rope and perform a dive, but Plunkett has recovered just enough to take Lev and get him flying down the mat.

Plunkett is now firmly in control and stomps at Lev’s head a few times before putting him into a headlock. He holds it in firm while the ref asks if Lev wants to give in, but Lev refuses. Lev fights through it and finally gets to his feet; the wheels start to click in the head of Lev… He forcibly pushes back on Plunkett, but the man does not let go of the hold. Lev maneuvers himself while being in this sleeper hold, and with one singular thrust, he pushes Jeremiah Plunkett off him and into the turnbuckle– but the ref was in the way! Down goes the ref. Plunkett is stunned for a second, but goes to turn around– He gets kicked in the nuts by Lev! Jeremiah Plunkett howls in pain and drops to his knees, and this gives Lev the opportunity to hit his new move: The Lost Light Shining Wizard! Plunkett drops like a sack of potatoes; but Lev knows he needs to get the job done right. He picks up Plunkett as the ref stirs, and blasts Plunkett’s cranium to the mat with a devastating Brainbuster! Lev goes for the pin, and the ref counts it: 1… 2… 3!

NEW! NWA Mid-America Championship
Alexander Lev

After the bell, Lev takes his newly won title and raises it in the air, much to the chagrin of the audience. Raven on commentary admits that Lev did whatever it took to get the job done. Galli and Raven discuss whether or not Plunkett will get a rematch, or if there is a new contender on the horizon for the straight edge messianic figure that is Lev…

*Commercial Break*

Coming back from the break, Galli and Raven discuss the bevy of exciting matches coming up later tonight; Raven of course also brings up that in the coming weeks, there will be announcements of several newly signed talents that will be joining the company. He mentions that he doesn’t want to spoil the surprise for everyone, but he is happy to announce that on next week’s NWA Powerrr, the women’s tag team division will be introduced to a brand new team: Brandi Lauren & Amber Nova. Galli expresses interest, citing that both girls are NXT and TNA alumni. Raven notes that Nova also has experience in AEW as well. There should be much anticipation to see what they do now that they’re signed exclusively to the NWA!

NWA United States Tag Team Championships
The Fixers vs. The Country Gentlemen © w/ Joe Cazana

Our next matchup of the night is a match between two teams that certainly have no love-lost for one another. The Fixers were the first NWA United States Tag Champions until the dastardly Country Gentlemen defeated them for the titles, however that was two years ago. Yet both teams have never settled their differences since then. AJ Cazana (the bigger brother) kicks things off as Jay Bradley starts off for the Fixers as well. Both tie things up, but are unable to get an inch on one another. Raven on commentary talks about the stranglehold that the Country Gentlemen have had on the division since they won the titles from Talos & Daisy Kill.

AJ Cazana blatantly scratches the eyes of Jay in front of the referee, who admonishes him. This opens up the opportunity for KC to start choking Jay Bradley in the corner behind the referee’s back. Wrecking Ball Legursky is mad, and goes in to try and help his partner, but is stopped by the referee while the Country Gentlemen both beat down on Jay Bradley with all the attacks.

Both Cazanas tag each other in and continue to put the hurting on Jay Bradley, who can only muster a few hope spots such as a powerslam on KC, after KC Cazana tried for a leaping dive, but took a little too long. However any attempts to reach out to his partner is met with failure after failure, thanks to AJ and/or KC grabbing and holding Bradley back before the tag could be made. Bradley cannot be held down for long, though…

AJ Cazana throws him into the Country Gentleman’s corner. KC holds him against the turnbuckle, as AJ goes for a running avalanche onto Jay Bradley… but Bradley breaks out of KC’s hold and dodges out of the way in time! AJ’s dive is grossly mistimed as his head hits the ring-post! KC has enough wherewithal to tag himself in before AJ goes limp on the floor below. AJ Cazana is bleeding on the mat, KC Cazana is scrambling to get into the ring, and Jay Bradley is staggering towards his partner! It’s a hot tag to Wrecking Ball Legursky!

Wrecking Ball Legursky comes in like a house of fire, attacking KC Cazana with clubbing punches, elbows, and scoop slams! AJ Cazana still hasn’t recovered from being knocked out by the ring-post, which allows Legursky to finally hit a massive splash onto a prone KC. Legursky goes for the pin… 1, 2– But Joe Cazana pulls KC’s foot onto the bottom rope! The ref sees the foot on the rope and breaks up the pin attempt! Legursky is livid, and rolls out of the ring to get at Joe Cazana! Cazana backs up from an oncoming Legursky!

Legursky chases after Joe Cazana– Yet Cazana always has a plan! From out of nowhere, AJ Cazana, blood pooling from his forehead, blasts Legursky in the face with a pair of brass knuckles! The ref didn’t catch the knuckles because AJ quickly shoves them into his trunks. Jay Bradley, who did in fact see what happened, goes right to AJ Cazana, and the two start brawling on the outside. Yet KC Cazana is sluggish in the ring as the ref counts out Legursky! The Country Gentlemen have once again retained their titles through a cheap trick. Jay Bradley is upset and argues with the referee while AJ and Joe Cazana drag KC out of the ring and to the back while they celebrate.

NWA National Heavyweight Championship
Bryan Idol vs. Mims © w/ BLK Jeez

Our next match of the evening is the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. Bryan Idol and Mims look to match up for the coveted title; Mims won the title back in August, and has been a dominant force in the division since. Bryan Idol is out first, followed by the defending champion Mims, who is accompanied by his manager, BLK Jeez. Both men stand in the ring, staring one another down, though Mims towers over the smaller Idol.

Bryan Idol takes the initiative early, attacking Mims with chops, kicks, and punches; Mims is irish-whipped against the ropes, but he hits a big lariat on Idol, who goes down hard. Mims goes to pick him up and throw him down with a scoop slam before posing and roaring. BLK Jeez on the outside talks shit to the crowd as Mims picks up Bryan Idol again and plants him into the turnbuckle upside down, proceeding to stomp the heck out of Idol’s chest while Idol’s legs are grapevined against the turnbuckle. Mims stops for a few seconds to look out at the crowd, turning his back to Idol.

This gives Bryan Idol the chance to catch his breath, lifting himself up to the top rope, and untying himself. As Mims turns around, he’s shocked to see Bryan Idol flying through the air, planting his feet into Mims’s head with a devastating dropkick! Mims falls to a knee, and this gives Idol the opportunity to hit a big shining wizard! Idol goes for a pin quickly, but only gets two from it. Raven notes that Idol has a very bright future in the NWA, and his recent alliance with Colby Corino against the Southern Six will be interesting to see as we get more into 2025.

Idol throws punches and elbows at the downed Mims, but the big man fights to get back to his feet; Mims shoves Idol back into the ropes, but Idol takes the opportunity to rebound with a flying elbow! Mims goes flying back into the ropes himself, and accidentally gets his arms caught between them! He’s tied up in the ropes and Idol has a bright idea… Back Idol goes, running against the ropes, and he smashes Mims in the head with a super kick! The sheer force of the move causes Mims to get unstuck, but collapse into the outside of the ring, where BLK Jeez runs out to him to make sure his client is okay!

Raven and Galli talk about how Bryan Idol may just shock everyone by winning the National Heavyweight Championship here tonight on NWA Powerrr! Mims slowly gets to his feet, and Idol sees another opportunity! Bryan Idol hits a huge plancha to the outside onto both Mims and BLK Jeez! Down everyone goes, and it’s an incredible sight as this crowd of 500 people chants “Bryan Idol”! Idol gets back into the ring, getting ready to hit another plancha, but unfortunately for him, Mims has the nickname “Big Strong”! He gets caught by Mims, and is thrown back-first into the ring-post! Idol grimaces as his back impacts against the hard steel, and Mims is firmly back in control now.

Mims throws Idol into the ring and he hits the downed Idol with a big leg drop. Mims isn’t quite finished with Idol though, as he picks up Idol and throws him down with a big pumphandle slam. Mims goes for the pin… 1– 2– But Idol refuses to go down so easily and he kicks out just before the three count! Mims appears frustrated, and jaw jacks with the ref. BLK Jeez, who has recovered a bit on the outside, shouts to Mims to take care of business first, pointing at Idol. Mims picks up Bryan Idol, throws him into the corner, and hits a big avalanche onto him. Idol is looking like he’s finished; and Mims decides it’s time to go for one more avalanche!

Bryan Idol dodges out of the way of the avalanche, which causes Mims to collide with the turnbuckle and stumble backwards! Idol climbs to the top rope, and he hits Mims with a massive blockbuster neckbreaker! Down goes Mims! Idol scrambles for a pin! He only gets a two though! Idol decides he needs to finish this, and he climbs back up to the top rope, waiting for Mims to get back on his feet. Here comes Bryan Idol with a top-rope moonsault! Mims caught him though! In a second we see Idol getting planted with a devastating tombstone piledriver! Mims pins Idol quickly, and it’s all over! Idol goes down in defeat thanks to a last second reversal by “Big Strong”! BLK Jeez climbs into the ring and raises Mims’s hand in victory, while Raven and Galli laud Idol for an incredible showing despite a losing effort.

STILL! NWA National Heavyweight Champion
“Big Strong” Mims

After the match, Raven and Joe Galli on commentary toss the program to the backstage area where we have May Valentine standing beside “The Oberman” EC3. Valentine asks EC3 about his thoughts on Silas Mason being given the #1 Contender’s spot to challenge World’s Heavyweight Champion Thom Latimer over him. EC3 doesn’t mince words for his disdain.

EC3: “Well I’ll be honest, there is no world in which I, the former champion, and the face of this company, gets passed over for a shot at *my* World’s Heavyweight Championship. Yet I have to sit back, and not even be booked on this show, a historic night, on Tubi? I am a gladiator, I’m a fighter. Everyone knows I’m one of the best in this company. Nobody does what I do, night in, night out. The Southern Six think they can run roughshod over the National Wrestling Alliance? Not on my watch; I’m going to be keeping a very close eye on this match tonight, because I know they’re gonna pull something, and I’d rather no shenanigans go down in *my* company, on *my* show, with *my* championship!”

NWA Women’s Television Championship
Kylie Paige vs. Big Mama ©

Our next match of the evening is the NWA Women’s Television Championship, held by Big Mama. She is challenged by Kylie Paige, the younger sister of the World Women’s Champion, Kenzie. Both girls stand in the ring, with Big Mama towering over Kylie. As soon as the bell rings, Kylie rushes to the outside of the ring to avoid the inevitable beat down that will come from Big Mama. Kylie crows to the crowd, while Galli and Raven on commentary discuss whether it’s blatant cowardice, or just mind games on the part of the Paige sister. Big Mama waits in the ring, knowing that she would win even with a count-out. Kylie eventually gets into the ring, to which Big Mama rushes at her. Kylie is one step ahead though, and she dropkicks Big Mama’s knee! It buckles, but Big Mama doesn’t go down so easily, and Kylie rams her with a clothesline. Big Mama still doesn’t go down, and Kylie is pummeled with a lariat by Big Mama!

Kylie quickly rolls out of the ring again, and shows a look of frustration. Big Mama motions for Kylie to get into the ring, but Paige is hesitant as usual. She starts to climb back in, but Big Mama tries to grab her, which causes Kylie to recoil back out to the floor and out of reach of Big Mama. Raven quips that it appears that Kylie has bitten off more than she can chew and isn’t excited about being the underdog.

The referee, Kevin Feenan, pulls Big Mama from the ropes and tells her to wait in the middle of the ring as he starts to count Kylie out. This gives Kylie the opportunity to strike; she rushes into the middle of the ring and she hits a splash on Big Mama with the referee in-between! Kevin Feenan goes down, but Big Mama doesn’t! She stares Kylie down; before Kylie can run, Big Mama grabs her and throws her across the ring over to a corner! Kylie rests on the ground against the turnbuckle, and Big Mama takes her chance!

Big Mama smashes her huge rear into Kylie’s face, and Kylie is knocked out! Big Mama goes for the pin, but the referee is still out! Big Mama releases the pin and goes to wake up the referee; Kylie rolls out of the ring, and she grabs an object from under the ring! Big Mama gets the ref to wake up, but it’s taking him too long to get to his feet; Big Mama looks over and finds Kylie on the outside. Big Mama reaches between the ropes and grabs Kylie Paige’s hair! In an instant, Big Mama is out like a light as Kylie smashes her over the head with a chair!

Big Mama collapses to the ground and Kylie goes to pin her as the ref finally looks over! He goes for the pin… 1… 2… But Big Mama kicks out! Kylie makes a short scream in frustration and begins pummeling Big Mama in the face with clubbing blows! Raven is surprised at the level of aggression displayed by Kylie Paige. Kylie goes over to the top rope, but Big Mama has gotten to her feet before Kylie gets set! Big Mama grabs her, and tosses her to the ground! Kylie writhes in pain as she rolls around and tries to crawl out of the ring. Big Mama doesn’t allow it and grabs Kylie Paige’s leg, forcibly pulling her back into the ring. Kylie kicks and screams to get away from Big Mama, but she has both of her knees slammed into the mat. Big Mama hits a big hip drop onto the back of Kylie. It knocks the wind out of Kylie, who is no longer in a position to recover, which allows Big Mama to hit the Big Splash onto Kylie! She’s knocked out, and here comes the pin… 1… 2… 3! Big Mama retains her title!

NWA Women’s Tag Team Championships
The King Bees vs. The IT Girls ©

Our next match of the evening involves the NWA Women’s Tag Team Championships. The IT Girls have held the titles since NWA 76, and the team they beat for it is challenging yet again for those very titles. The King Bees have been unsuccessful in their attempts to defeat the IT Girls twice before, and this is their final shot at such a chance. Ella Envy and Samantha Starr talk smack in the ring and demand attention, with Starr still having her neck brace in place. Charity King starts it off, and so does Ella Envy. Envy postures and jaw jacks towards Charity. King doesn’t take any guff from Ella, and when the two tie it up, King pushes Ella back into a corner, but has to be broken up by the referee. Ella rolls out of the ring after and she strategizes with her partner, Samantha Starr. Danni Bee isn’t willing to wait, so she hops down to the floor and rushes around the ring before diving right at both IT Girls! Down they go as Bee tosses Ella Envy into the ring, which allows Charity King to pick up Envy for a big powerslam!

King goes for the quick pin, but Envy kicks out at 2. Charity King runs the ropes, but she gets one of her feet tripped up by Samantha Starr! King turns around and argues with Starr, grabbing her to pull Starr into the ring; Envy ambushes Charity from behind and hits her with the backstabber, taking down Charity hard! Ella tags in Samantha Starr, who rushes in and hits a hard leg drop onto King’s neck, and goes for a headlock.

King struggles to get to her feet, but ultimately succeeds, and proceeds to push her and Starr back to the King Bees’ corner, where Danni Bee tags herself in! In the corner, both King Bees attack Samantha Starr, ending with a double suplex from the corner. Starr hits the mat with a thud and writhes in pain, grabbing her back. Danni Bee picks up Starr and throws her back down with a competent snapmare. Starr rolls out of the ring immediately to take the chance to recover, but Charity King is one step ahead; she throws Starr back into the ring from the outside, and Starr gets up and walks right into a nasty bicycle kick by Danni Bee!

Bee goes for a pin on the downed Starr, but only gets a two. Charity King gets tagged in, and picks up Samantha Starr, hitting a choke toss across the ring, followed by a running knee into Starr’s face in an empty corner. Charity King climbs up the turnbuckle, to prepare for a bonsai drop, but Ella Envy is prepared, running over and elbowing King in the face. This distracts and stumbles Charity King enough for Samantha Starr to recover enough, and she pushes King off the turnbuckle to the outside of the ring! King hits the floor below with a loud thud, and Raven quips that something like that has been known to end careers.

Ella Envy motions for Samantha Starr to tag her in, which follows this. Envy goes to the top rope where Charity King just was, and she leaps down at a rising King for a big splash! King is taken down again, before Envy picks up King and tosses her into the ring. Ella pins King, but King throws her off with some force. Envy then wraps up King’s neck in a big sleeper hold. It’s a struggle for a few minutes as it seems King is about to pass out, but King has enough fight in her to throw down a jawbreaker against Envy! Envy cowers in pain, with King trying to crawl towards her partner. Instead, Envy wraps up the leg of King, and she reaches up to tag in Samantha Starr!

Starr comes in and hits an elbow drop on the head of King, then slaps on a rear naked choke onto King while Envy keeps the leg wrapped! The ref starts to count to five, but both girls release their holds before it can happen. Samantha Starr puts another sleeper hold onto King, who again struggles for her life. King has all of Starr’s weight put onto her, so she struggles to push herself up; in fact, Starr releases the hold and hits a hip drop onto Charity King’s back. Samantha Starr tags Ella Envy in, and Envy goes for a half-Boston crab onto King, which occupies the ref, prone to see if King submits. Samantha reaches an arm in and takes one of Envy’s hands, applying more pressure to the leg of Charity King! Each time the ref looks up to check, Starr releases the hand and plays innocent! But one time too many makes the ref catch it, and he starts counting Ella Envy! Envy releases the hold and argues with the referee for a few moments, before turning around and taking a big step onto King.

Samantha Starr gets tagged in, and Starr puts King into a push-up facebuster, slamming King’s head into the mat several times. Starr then crows to the crowd, which causes a flurry of boos to reign down onto her. Starr picks up King, and whips her into the rope and tries to hit a clothesline, but King ducks! On the rebound, King jumps up high and hits a flying crossbody onto Starr, who goes down hard! King goes for a pin, but only gets two as Starr kicks out quickly; Starr is faster than King to her feet, and King eats a kick to the face by an enraged Starr. Starr tries to hit a sit-out facebuster onto Charity King, but in mid-air, King pushes Starr into the ropes! When Starr rebounds off the ropes, King hits a snap suplex to Starr! Both girls are on the ground, and King slowly crawls to her partner.

Samantha Starr also reaches for Ella Envy, but King is just faster than Starr! Danni Bee goes in for the hot tag and runs wild on Envy! Multiple elbow drivers, arm-drags, and snap suplexes onto Envy puts her down. Danni Bee jumps up the the top rope for a diving elbow drop, which is driven right down onto the chest of Ella Envy! Bee goes for a pin, but doesn’t quite get the count! Bee shows a bit of frustration, having thought she had the win. She stomps Envy several times before climbing up to the top rope again.

Danni Bee goes for a diving splash down onto Envy, but Envy got her knees up! Bee crumples up in pain, with Envy rising to her feet and smashing Bee’s face in with a spinning kick! Danni Bee is down and out, and Envy realizes this is her chance. Envy picks up Danni Bee and hits the Overdrive down onto Bee! She goes for the pinfall, and that’s all she wrote! The IT Girls have retained in one heck of a match!

After the match, we cut backstage to May Valentine, who is standing beside a recognizable face from only a few years ago: Kylie Rae! Valentine welcomes back Rae to the NWA, and Rae expresses her excitement at being back within the company.

Kylie Rae: “Let me tell you, May, I’m just so happy to be back here! A few weeks ago I got a call from the NWA who asked if I was interested in returning; how could I resist? There’s just so much unfinished business here, so many people I remember, and new faces I don’t. I just can’t wait to get into the ring and show everyone just what I can do!”

NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship
Colby Corino vs. Alex Taylor ©

Our next match is one that has been some time coming; it’s Colby Corino challenging a member of the Southern Six for their title! Alex Taylor has held the title since June of 2024, and has maintained a dominant reign since. Colby is seeking to become a 2-time Junior Heavyweight Champion. Additionally, Colby Corino has been a victim of the Southern Six for the last year or so in change; he wants to take the title and get one over on the Southern Six. Both men tie up to begin the match, with Taylor pushing Colby into a corner. The ref breaks it up, but Taylor goes the extra mile to slap Colby into the face. This gets Corino hot, who rushes towards Taylor, but he takes an arm drag! Colby gets to his feet, but pauses to reassess his situation, which causes Taylor to pause as well!

Both men lock up once again, this time Corino takes control, twisting Taylor into a waistlock. Taylor tries to hit a back elbow, but instead he takes a back suplex for his troubles! Taylor jumps back to his feet, which leads to Corino locking in a headlock on Taylor! Taylor pushes Corino into the ropes, but on the rebound Corino holds onto the ropes, as Taylor goes for a dropkick! Taylor hits the mat with a thud, and Corino throws down an elbow drop! A quick pin ensues, but Taylor kicks out at one! Corino sees Taylor getting up, and runs to the ropes; Corino rebounds, but Taylor was just one step ahead, and Corino eats a codebreaker! Corino doesn’t fall to the floor, but instead stumbles around, stunned. Taylor then runs against the ropes and hits a single-arm bulldog; which causes Corino’s head to bounce off the mat. Taylor goes for a pin himself, but Corino kicks out at 2. With Corino down, Taylor hits a rebound standing moonsault from the ropes! Corino gets picked up by Taylor, who then lays down some hard chops to the chest of Corino, then pushes Corino into the corner.

Alex Taylor irish-whips Corino from one corner of the ring to the other, then runs after him! Corino leaps to the top of the rope, and backflips over Taylor! Taylor is caught by surprise, with Corino landing on his feet, hitting the ropes, and then returning with a big running knee to the head of Alex Taylor! Corino tries to pin Taylor, but he kicks out at 2. Corino slaps the mat, then picks up Taylor and pushes him into the corner. Corino returns some chops to the chest of Taylor as a receipt for earlier in the match; Corino then pushes Taylor up to the top rope, and he hits a huge superplex down to the middle of the ring.

Corino isn’t quite finished though, because he wants to end this match once and for all. He climbs to the top rope, getting in perfect position to hit his finishing Phoenix Splash! Suddenly from the back comes Kerry Morton, Alex Taylor’s partner and friend! Morton climbs up to the apron and starts shouting at the ref, who gets distracted and tries to get Morton off the apron. This distracts Corino just long enough that when he goes to hit the Phoenix Splash, Alex Taylor has gotten out of the way! Corino plants onto the mat, selling like death. Taylor crawls over and pins Corino, just as Kerry Morton jumps down from the apron. The ref turns around and counts the pin! This one is sadly over, as the Southern Six have yet again gotten one over on Colby Corino! Taylor rolls out of the ring and celebrates with Kerry.

We go to a pre-taped promo by “The Thrillbilly” Silas Mason. He has a menacing look in his eye and he’s prepared for the biggest match of his career.

Silas Mason: “I’ve seen all the doubters, the haters, the so-called “fans” of wrestling talk me down. Tonight, I fulfill my destiny and take what is rightfully mine: the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship. They said the Southern Six wasn’t good enough, but when push comes to shove, we are the best of the best here in the NWA, and nobody compares to us. Nobody! As for EC3, I heard what you’ve been talking about; I’ve seen your social media posts. If you get involved in my match, in my coronation– Brother, you will be in a world of hurt. I will take you out! The ’Overman’ will be over, man!”

NWA World Television Championship
Alex Misery vs. Carson B. Drake ©

Our next match for the evening is for the NWA World Television Championship. Carson Drake won the title at Samhain 2 against Max the Impaler in a shocking upset, and his stock has just continued to rise in the NWA, despite his unconventional nature and outright arrogance. He stands in the ring and does his silly pose, while Alex Misery sits criss-cross in the middle of the ring, laughing to himself and eyeing up Carson. Drake chuckles and looks a bit perplexed by Misery, but otherwise considers the son of Gran Apollo beneath him.

Once the bell rings, though, Misery hits a running Dropkick right at the surprised Drake; and we’re off to a hot start. Misery stomps Drake, who continually tries to get back to his feet, but is beaten back to the mat. Drake rolls out of the ring and complains to the ref that this wasn’t very fair of Misery, but the ref shrugs, stating that it wasn’t against the rules. Drake then throws his hands up and starts to walk towards the back. What Drake wasn’t expecting though would be Alex Misery suddenly running towards the rope, and hitting a top-rope springboard plancha down onto Drake!

Both men collide with one another and they drop like flies to the ground below. Alex gets to his feet and cackles, having inflicted pain upon his opponent. Drake is thrown into the ring by Misery, who follows up this daredevil maneuver by climbing up to the top-rope and hitting a diving flip cannonball splash onto Drake! Drake is being dominated this entire match, and only now does Misery go for the pin!

Drake has enough wherewithal to kick out at 2, which Misery finds only amusing. Misery picks up Drake and throws a spinning elbow right to Drake’s jaw; Drake clutches his face and rolls out of the ring, shouting about how his perfect face is ruined! Misery runs the ropes, and he goes for a baseball slide onto Drake, but Drake catches a break; he grabs Misery’s legs and uses his momentum to throw Misery down to the floor below! Misery hits the ground with a loud thud. Drake stomps the downed Misery, before tossing him into the ring.

Now in control of the match, Drake slaps on a long sleeper hold onto Alex Misery; during this, Drake talks shit not only to Misery, but to the entire crowd, speaking about how much he’s worth to the NWA. This doesn’t last for very long, as Misery fights to get to his feet; Drake releases the sleeper hold and opts to grab Misery’s hair and throw him to the ground! The ref admonishes Drake, who just shrugs and smiles. Drake follows this up by giving Misery a few disrespectful kicks to the back of the head! Drake picks up Misery and plants him with a slick DDT; this only gets a two, however.

Drake looks to have the match well in control, and he sits up Misery, and goes ahead and hits him with a flying elbow right down to Misery’s chest. Carson Drake is so confident in himself he does his signature pose with his back turned to Alex Misery. This proves to be a bad decision, because Alex Misery gets to his feet and runs to the ropes! The second Drake turns around, we have Misery flying into Drake with a 180 crossbody! Misery’s back smashes into Drake’s chest, and it sends Drake hitting the ground hard; Misery laughs hysterically and he drags Drake over to one of the corners! Misery starts climbing to the top rope to finish this off, but that’s when Carson Drake strikes! Drake wraps up his arm around Alex Misery’s leg and goes for a schoolboy pin! Misery is pinned, and the ref begins counting– The ref doesn’t see Drake’s feet on the ropes for leverage! 1… 2… 3! Drake has stolen this match and retained his Television Title! Alex Misery can’t believe it; and this crowd is showering boos down on Carson Drake, who grabs his title and celebrates all the way to the back!

The Colóns vs. Knox & Murdoch ©

It’s time for the World Tag Titles here, it’s a match between two veteran teams: Knox & Murdoch vs. The Colóns. We start with Trevor Murdoch & Eddie Colón. Murdoch overpowers the smaller Eddie, and with it pushes him into his team’s corner, tagging in Knox. Knox comes in and both big men chop Eddie in the chest, who recoils with a shout of pain. Knox slams Eddie with a Fisherman Suplex, followed by a front mounted set of punches to the face. Eddie pushes off Knox, getting back to his feet and dodging a clothesline by Knox. Eddie, the wily veteran, hits Knox with a big back neckbreaker! Eddie then tags in Orlando, and both Colóns have themselves a set of repeating leg drops onto Knox, before Eddie gets motioned to the corner by the referee.

Orlando puts Knox into a modified crossface chicken wing hold, which causes Knox to howl in pain. This doesn’t last for very long though, as Knox uses his free arm to smash his elbow into Orlando’s ribs. Orlando releases the hold, which allows Knox to roll around and grab Orlando by the throat. Orlando gets choke tossed across the ring towards Murdoch, who gets tagged in a few seconds after! Murdoch and Knox take it to Orlando, throwing several big punches to the smaller man’s chest and head. Murdoch grabs Orlando’s hand, and hits him with several lariats in a row, not allowing him to have a moment’s rest. Murdoch then goes for a scoop slam onto Orlando, who wriggles out and pushes Murdoch into a corner turnbuckle!

Murdoch is stunned, which allows Orlando to get a leaping knee to Murdoch’s head in the corner, followed by a running bulldog! Orlando goes for a pin, but he is thrown off by Murdoch, who doesn’t go down so easily. Orlando lifts up Murdoch and pushes him into his team’s corner, tagging in Eddie. Eddie and Orlando irish-whip Murdoch into the ropes! They both try to clothesline Murdoch, but Murdoch breaks through it and hits a double clothesline himself on the rebound!

Murdoch is feeling himself and so he picks up Eddie and throws him from one corner of the ring to the other! Murdoch follows quickly after him, to hit Eddie with an avalanche! Eddie however slides down underneath the ropes just as Murdoch would splash onto him, leaving Murdoch to collide with the turnbuckles! Murdoch collapses backwards; Eddie Colón grabs Murdoch’s legs and wraps them up against the ringpost, locking up a ring-post figure four leglock onto the big man. Murdoch howls in pain and begs for the ref to break it up, who can only start counting to five. Eddie breaks up the hold before five, but the damage is done. Murdoch crawls away from the ring post, clutching his knee. Eddie climbs up to the apron and then to the top rope, before flying down onto Murdoch with a diving elbow drop to the back of Murdoch.

Eddie’s next move is to lock on a cloverleaf against Murdoch, who cries out in pain again. Eddie holds the move tight for several minutes. Eventually Murdoch fights to the rope, which allows the ref to break up the submission hold. Eddie tags in Orlando, and both men drag Murdoch back to the center of the ring, and roughly split his legs; Raven, on commentary, points out could tear a wrestler’s groin or quadriceps. Orlando continues the attack on Murdoch’s legs, with several stomps and knee drops.

Orlando picks up Murdoch and tries to go for a lifting knee breaker, but Murdoch counters into a reverse russian leg-sweep! This crowd is electric to see the comeback by Murdoch, who crawls his way to Mike Knox! A hot tag is made! Knox gets into the ring, and he picks up Orlando for an irish-whip into a flapjack! Orlando follows it up with a big brainbuster, and goes to pin Orlando! Eddie breaks up the pin just before the 3-count, and thus this match continues!

Knox throws Orlando into the corner, where he lands an avalanche onto the little Colón; Knox roars out to the crowd, who is lapping this up. Knox goes to pick up Orlando from the ground where he fell, but Orlando quickly goes for a roll-up! It only gets two, but Knox is madder than the Mad Hatter, and he tries to get at Orlando! Orlando is just one step ahead of Knox, and rolls out of the ring to recover.

Eddie and Orlando discuss strategy outside the ring, but what they don’t see is Knox roll out to the opposite side of the ring… Knox tries to ambush them, but the Colóns spot it at the last second and they dodge and throw Mike Knox into the ring post! Knox goes down hard, and both Colóns throw Knox into the ring. Orlando rolls into the ring before tagging in Eddie. Eddie Colón picks up Knox and locks in an arm-wringer, transitioning to a drop toehold and into a crossface!

Knox tries to get out of the hold, and after a few moments, finally gets Eddie off of him! Knox gets back up to his feet, and Eddie runs into the ropes to rebound for a running crossbody… Knox counters it into a powerslam! Knox leaps to his feet and immediately runs at Orlando in the corner and elbows him down to the floor! Murdoch is in the corner, and Knox goes to him for the tag! Both men are getting set up for their finisher, a running version of Total Elimination! Eddie gets to his feet– Knox & Murdoch rush it! Eddie dives out of the way! Knox’s body collides into Murdoch’s knee and Murdoch buckles! Murdoch is on the ground, howling in pain! Eddie takes advantage and throws Knox out of the ring before quickly pinning Murdoch! 1– 2– 3! The Colóns have taken the titles from Knox & Murdoch! This crowd doesn’t believe the match could end like this, in such an unfortunate manner!

After the commercial break, we get a backstage segment where May Valentine is standing beside Tiffany Nieves, who is going to face off against Natalia Markova next week on Powerrr in a Falls Count Anywhere Grudge Match. May begins to ask Tiffany a question, but she gets cut off quickly.

Tiffany Nieves: “Save your breath, May, I don’t need you to talk; I’m going to talk anyways, so you sit there and just hold the microphone, or whatever it is that you do. I’m talking directly to Natalia Markova. You are a thorn in my side. Someone who needs to be taken out; removed from my way. I want the Women’s World Championship, and you want the same thing too, but I won’t allow it. One of us is going to finish this story next week; when I’m done with you, I’m going to face off against either Haley J or Kenzie Paige. You will just be another number in my journey.”

We come to the penultimate match of the night! Kenzie Paige has held this Women’s World Championship for over 500 days, an impressive record. Haley J is one of NWA’s newer talents, with all the potential in the world to be a big player. Both girls have something to prove, with Kenzie her continued dominance of the women’s division, and Haley to prove she belongs with the big girls, so to speak. We find both girls staring each other down in the ring, talking down to one another. Haley J shoves Kenzie, who smirks and shoves Haley back, but much harder.

Suddenly Haley J rushes forward and his Kenzie with a European uppercut! Kenzie stumbles backwards into the ropes, but rebounds into a roundhouse kick to Haley J! Both girls are stunned momentarily, but start throwing punches at one another! Kenzie counters one of Haley’s punches into an arm-wringer, reverse DDT! A Dragon Sleeper follows, with Haley struggling to get out, but leaping up to knee Kenzie in the face! Paige lets go and shuffles towards the rope. Haley takes the opportunity to run the ropes, rebounding and leaping her body into Kenzie Paige.

Haley picks up Paige and tosses her head back into the mat, repeatedly slamming it down viciously! Raven mentions that Haley J shows an incredible amount of aggression during her matches. Haley then runs the ropes for a running leg drop onto Kenzie. It looks like trouble early for the champion; Kenzie gets pinned quickly, but kicks out before even a 2-count. Haley shouts out in frustration and calls for the crowd to shut their mouths. As she goes to pick up Kenzie, Kenzie counters and hits a Northern Lights Suplex! The pin attempt only gets a 2 as Haley kicks out, but this gives Kenzie enough time to breath.

Both girls get to their feet, but Kenzie is just slightly faster, committing to a spinning back elbow, but Haley is a step ahead and ducks it, lifting Kenzie up and into a Stun Gun onto the ropes! Kenzie hits the ropes and goes flying backwards onto the mat, clutching her throat. Haley confidently walks over to Kenzie and steps on her hair, and tries to pull it out via her feet holding it down. The ref counts, but Haley quickly stops, before twisting a foot against Kenzie’s face! It’s just vicious and disrespectful offense all around by “HollyHood”, who laps up the hate from the crowd.

Haley drags Kenzie closer to one of the corners, before committing to a leg toss, hoping to throw Kenzie’s head into a turnbuckle. Instead, the wiley Kenzie quickly grabs the ropes and tries for a corner slingshot splash! Haley gets her knees up, and Kenzie, quickly thinking, lands on her feet and instead grapevine one of Haley’s legs into a submission! Haley of course quickly grabs the ropes and pulls herself out of the ring, forcing Kenzie to let go.

Haley stays outside to try and catch her breath, but Kenzie needs to keep up the attack in order to have a chance here! Kenzie hits a plancha over the ropes, and lands right onto Haley J! Haley goes own hard, and Kenzie follows this up by picking up Haley and tossing her into the nearest ring post. Haley’s back hits the post hard, and she stumbles forwards a few steps. This precedes Kenzie spearing Haley back into the ring post! It’s double damage for “HollyHood”, and she flops to the ground in agony.

Kenzie picks up Haley and tosses her into the ring; Kenzie gets back into the ring as well, and locks in an STF onto Haley, who now has to fight towards the ropes on her own. Unfortunately, the damage to her back just is too much to handle, and getting pulled against her neck and leg is putting even more strain. Haley can’t get to the ropes, and invariably taps against the mat. Kenzie Paige has yet again retained to keep her historic reign going!

After the match we go backstage to where Thom Latimer is, holding onto his NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship. He’s next to May Valentine, who asks Thom his thoughts regarding Silas Mason. Thom chuckles and smirks before speaking.

Thom Latimer: “The proof is in the pudding, May; I’m the best there is in this company, despite what Silas says, what EC3 says, or what anyone else says. I hold the ten pounds of gold, May. I’ve got the champion’s advantage; I am the one who holds all the cards. I walked through the valley of death and came out stronger, and through believing in myself, all things have been made possible for me. So Silas, I implore you, give it your best shot, because at the end of the day, when you come for the king, you better not miss.”

NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship
“The Thrillbilly” Silas Mason vs. Thom Latimer ©

We come to the main event of the evening, as the leader of the Southern Six looks to challenge for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship. Silas Mason has had an impressive winning streak as of late, but he’s got his biggest match to date as he faces Thom Latimer. Latimer won the title in August at NWA 76 against EC3. During this time, EC3 has been hot on his trail to win back the world title, but Silas Mason has gone and interjected himself into the mix, and thus is the result.

Both men lock eyes and shuffle around the ring, neither man willing to take the first step. The crowd chants for Thom Latimer, and this annoys Silas somewhat, but he keeps his eye on the prize. Finally, both men lock up. Neither man can really get a push on one another, so they break up the lock-up and just stare each other down. Silas gives a small flex and sneers, motioning for Thom to come at him, but Thom doesn’t take the bait. After much more posturing, they lock up again– Silas knees Latimer in the gut, and takes him for a side-suplex!

Thom hits the ground hard and this leads to Mason motioning for Latimer to get back up. Latimer looks up at Silas and shakes his head before getting back to his feet. Both men walk around the ring, and Mason calls for a test of strength– Latimer is hesitant, and both men go to start locking up for it. This of course leads to the expected result of Mason poking one of Latimer’s eyes! The ref admonishes Mason for such an action, but Mason brushes the referee aside and dives at one of Latimer’s knees! The knee buckles and Latimer howls in pain. Silas grins menacingly, and he wraps his arms around the stomach of the downed Latimer, picking him up and hitting a huge German suplex!

Latimer’s shoulders impact onto the mat with a loud bang, and he is folded up like an accordion. Raven on commentary admits that he hasn’t seen very many people manage to do that to someone like Thom Latimer, which isn’t a good sign for the champion! Mason continues the assault on Latimer, wrapping him up into a figure four leg-lock. Latimer struggles and fights through the pain and the submission hold, trying his best to get out of it for several minutes. However, Mason has differing ideas. While the ref is busy talking to Latimer, Mason grabs the middle rope, inflicting more pain onto the champion! When the ref goes to look, of course Mason has already let go of the ropes! Mason gets greedy however, going for the top rope, and the referee finally catches on!

Mason releases the leg-lock, but the damage may already have been done to Latimer’s legs. Mason shrugs and shouts something to the referee, before kicking Latimer in the gut to flip him over to his back and dropping a fist-drop right onto his face. Latimer recoils in anguish, and holds his face as he struggles to get back onto his feet. Silas Mason leans back against the ropes and lurches forward for a flying European Uppercut, which sends Thom Latimer falling out of the ring! The ref starts counting Latimer out, but Silas knows he can’t win that way. He rolls out to the ring and he starts clobbering Latimer with fists, kicks, and chops. Mason goes to throw Latimer into the ring post, but Latimer catches himself and rebounds back, elbowing Mason in the face!

This enrages Mason, who rushes at Latimer, but Latimer steps out of the way, and Silas Mason hits the ring-post shoulder first! Latimer rolls in and out of the ring to reset the count, and he chops Mason’s chest, throws several punches, and he then slaps Mason in the face for ultimate disrespect! Latimer throws Mason into the ring, and Latimer follows shortly afterwards.

Latimer stalks Mason, before grabbing him from behind for a Cobra Clutch! Mason writhes and wriggles, not wanting to give up from this opportunity, he refuses to losse like this! Mason elbows Latimer in the side, but Latimer takes this angrily, and instead hits a Cobra Clutch Slam. Silas Mason’s head hits the ground hard. This is followed by a running knee drop right onto Mason! Latimer looks to be getting set-up for his finisher, the Lifting DDT… but out comes a familiar face!

Kerry Morton runs out to ringside and starts screaming at Thom Latimer, serving to not only distract Latimer, but the ref as well! Both look at Kerry Morton motioning wildly, but what neither Latimer or the referee see is Alex Taylor running in with his Junior Heavyweight Championship!

Latimer turns around to finish the job, but he runs face-first right into championship gold! Taylor scrambles out of the ring, as blood begins to flow from Thom Latimer’s face… Silas Mason goes for the pin– It’s 1… 2… Kick out! Somehow Latimer kicked out! Mason can’t believe it, Kerry & Taylor can’t believe it! This crowd can’t believe it either! Raven points out that Latimer has gone through hellfire to win the world title, and he will not die so easily. Mason slaps the mat, and gets to his feet, looking to finish the match with his finishing move, the Pumphandle Power Slam! He picks up Latimer, whose blood is just gushing from his forehead. Starts the Pumphandle, lifts up Latimer… who counters it into his finishing move the Lifting DDT!

Latimer drapes himself over Silas’s body… 1… 2… But there’s no three count! Kerry Morton punted the referee! There’s no referee! All three members of the Southern Six pounce onto Thom Latimer, beating him down, dragging him into a corner and stomping mudholes into him– EC3 runs out to the ring! He starts attacking Morton and Taylor, and gets one up on the both of them! He throws each of them out of the ring, and they are fighting on the outside… suddenly a hooded and masked figure comes out from the crowd! He leaps into the ring and lariats Silas Mason! The man lifts up Mason into an Argentine backbreaker position… before lifting him up and throwing his back down onto one of his knees!

Silas Mason folds up and collapses onto the mat, seemingly shattered from such a move! The hooded masked man rolls out of the ring, and Thom Latimer crawls towards the downed Mason. The ref, who had been knocked out by Kerry Morton, starts to wake up… He sees Latimer pinning Mason, and starts the count… 1… On the outside, EC3 has Alex Taylor in a fist-fight, but Kerry Morton has broken free and is rushing to save his stable mate… 2… The masked man lurches forward and he hits Morton with a codebreaker! Morton goes down… 3! Thom Latimer retains in an unbelievably chaotic finish of a match!

STILL! NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion
Thom Latimer

Latimer struggles to get to his feet, being handed a towel to wipe the blood from his face, and given his World title. Raven, on commentary, doesn’t know exactly who the mystery man is, or why he helped Thom Latimer… as Latimer celebrates in the ring, EC3 gets into the ring and both Latimer and EC3 stare each other down, before turning their attention to the mystery man; the man calmly gets into the ring, and staring both men before him, he de-hoods and unmasked… Oh my goodness, it’s Stu Grayson! Stu Grayson has become a new member of the National Wrestling Alliance! Raven and Joe Galli lose it on commentary, Raven especially saying he wasnt expecting the new biggest hire to appear tonight. Galli calls the end of the show, thanking not only the live audience, but the viewers at home for watching, as the show comes to a close.
