SmackDown! is a professional wrestling television program for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and is the flagship broadcast of the SmackDown! brand. The SmackDown! stars typically perform four shows in a week. WWE usually tapes its Tuesday evening show for The CW to air on Friday evening of the same week. However, the show is occasionally broadcast live. From its launch in 1999, SmackDown! was shown on Thursday nights, but as of September 9, 2005, the show moved to Friday nights. To reflect this change, the show is now referred to as Friday Night SmackDown!.

It currently airs in the United States on The CW, in Canada on The Score Network and on CH Montreal, in India and Pakistan on Ten Sports, in Germany on Tele 5, in the UK and Republic of Ireland on Sky Sports 3, in Portugal on SIC, in Puerto Rico on Televicentro, in Chile on Chilevisión, in Mexico on 52MX, in Australia on FOX8, in New Zealand on Sky 1, in Philippines on Jack TV and RPN, in Peru on ATV , in Spain on Cuatro, in Romania on TV Sport, in Saudi Arabia and Arab World on Showtime Arabia Tv Land and Tv Land +2, in France on NT1, in Japan on J Sports and on AFN Xtra and on e.tv in South Africa and on Subtv in Finland.

9.5/10 Smackdown has some of the best matches and they continue to make new stars.

9/10... Right now, its the best wrestling show on tv. That includes TNA, WSX, RAW and ECW. It has Finlay, Regal and Benoit who are three of my favorites aswell as Mr Kennedy who is rapidly becoming a star. They have arguably the biggest name in the business in the Undertaker and they have two great young stars in London and Kendrick... all this and Krystal too!

Used to be the lame duck WWE brand but has upped it's game substantially and is frequently the most watchable show that WWE produces. Also, after many lame PPV's they finally really cracked it with Armageddon. 9/10

- Kevin Nash revealed on the XPac Show on Cowheadtv.com last week that he made the decision to leave TNA after watching the storylines unfold on iMPACT.

Nash said that after the recent episode of iMPACT where Kurt Angle ran through the members of Immortal and Abyss fell over on the ramp with Janice stuck in his back, he decided there was no reason for him to return, despite signing a contract with TNA in mid-January.

Nash said that after that episode of iMPACT, he and his wife felt that returning to TNA was not in his best interest. Nash said that a call from WWE's John Laurinaitis next made the decision to back out of his TNA contract and return to WWE an easy one.
Don't blame him for seeing stupid shit like that and it making up his mind.

Now only if WWE made offers to some more TNA stars, like the talented ones.

Too bad it only took Nash like 6 years to realize TNA is terrible.
