Marufuji helped re-innovate NOAH as a whole. Along with KENTA, they helped bring in the Juniorweight style of wrestling into NOAH while adding the ideology of King's Road to it. He is also responsible for creating the Solo Spanish Sly and the curb stomp that Seth Rollins and others used. Also, along with KENTA, Go Shiozaki, Atsushi Kotoge, Masa Kitamiya, Katsuhiko Nakajima, and Daisuke Harada, with KENTA later being replaced by KENOH and Kaito Kiyomiya being added, would become known by fans as The New Super Generation Army.
