I've been searching everywhere but I can't find any information on his injury. All I know is that he tore his ACL in early 2009. Can anyone shed some light on his injury? Any news on when he'll return to action? How was the injury even caused? I really want him to return soon cause NOAH just isn't the same w/o him.

He suffered the injury in March at the SEM show. It was one of the more severe injuries (or so i've heard), and he's likely to be out until next year. I wish I had more info but internet is sucky atm. :/ I believe the original prognosis was 9 months since March though. Plus since he was named co-VP with Kenta, he will probably take his time coming back. It sucks I know. :( I always thought he was the 2nd best guy NOAH had besides KENTA...

Ah, thanks for the info. I hope Shiozaki is still champion when Marufuji returns. I want to see those 2 go at it for the title. Marufuji's been my favorite in NOAH for a long time. And with the year KENTA's having, I'd like to see a KENTA-Marufuji rematch now.

Hope he returns soon.

Yeah, Go has really improved since he came back from ROH. He's seems a lot more energetic and fun to watch. I would love a Go/Marufuji match. But I think Fuji and KENTA will be back in the Jr. Heavyweight division by the time he's back (for a little while) so a match between them is more likely. Though a Nakajima feud could be promising too.

Have you seen the KENTA/Marufuji match from 2006 at Tokyo Budokan? Easily one of my favorite matches of all time to this day. :y:

I didn't even think about Marufuji vs Nakajima! Shame on me!

Is that the one where Marufuji almost killed himself doing the Springboard Moonsault to the outside? Yeah, freaking amazing match. In my book, that's was a 5 star match.
