WWE are trying to break the world record set by the LA Angels where they had close to 25,000 fans wear a mask. The previous record was 250. It would be an incredibly simple record to break for WWE at WM if they could just get Mysterio on the show. Even if he can't wrestle he can appear and tell everyone to put on their masks to break the record.

What? Previous record was 250? I can believe this 25,000 but surely Lucha events destroyed 250, hundreds and hundreds of times.

But I guess I don't mind them trying to break it, I just don't really want my ears to bleed watching Rey get to talk instead of actually wrestle at Wrestlemania.

I didn't believe it either but apparently that was the record. Maybe the Lucha events never got an official down there to verify the record and that is why 250 was the old record.
