Ok I havent been watching wrestling lately, but Ive been trying to keep up to date with it, but I want to get all your thoughts on Mysterio.

Since his return at Summerslam, Mysterio hasnt seemed to be the same person he was before his injury/time off. Mysterio was at one point, a "world champion" and "proved he could roll with the big dogs", but as of late he seems to be right back into the mid-card slot, and getting comfy.

I want to know what you all think of this big change: will it last, will he get another push, will they try and use Mysterio to push others (sounds dumb, yes), will Mysterio become WHC again, and if so - what to do with the likes of Edge, Taker and Tista...

I don't see Mysterio becomeing world champ in the near future.

The stars were aligned perfectly for him last time. There were injuries and wrestlers in the doghouse. This time around the top dogs are all healthy right now and he is at best the number three face on the brand. As long as Taker and Batista remain healthy, he is not going to advinace too far beyond the top midcard face.

what rey needs to do is keep fueding with the people that need a push. finlay went from bad guy to helping hornswaggle win matchs. MVP beat the hell out of hardy now rey gonna help him keep the heel push going

Hopefully rey re-establishes himself as a midcard wrestler on either brand, i would prefer he stays on SD and fueds with MVP until Matt hardy returns, but personnally i thought he looked great in the ring against mvp last night.

I'm actually 95% sure he will go to ECW after this feud with MVP is up. And probably become the ECW champion there.

he's just kind of "there" now. He should run with MVP and the US Title for a bit and then get ready for him and Wrestlemania, and I'm predicting him in a "Big vs little" match or him in the Money In The Bank ladder match. I like Great One's idea of moving him to ECW a little, it would bring some credibility to the heels on there.

I still think Rey Rey can get a WHC again if injuries happen, but for now let him build himself and others in the mid-card. I wouldn't mind seeing a US title reign for a while. Plus I don't think rushing him back to the main event is wise. He needs to build upon his status again. Maybe if he wins another Royal Rumble then that would be nice to see the WWE is high on mr. 619

I don't see any ECW-SD trades, if WWE wants Rey Mysterio to win the ECW title, they would just give him a more active role there, as he can freely participate in the brand without being a permanent part of the roster.

As for Mysterio, I dont see a title reign in his future, but seeing the current landscape of SD, with two major faces and one major heel, and seeing that Edge has already facen Batista, Edge vs Rey Mysterio is a possibility. Also, Rey mysterio could very well become the second face of the brand as Batista may turn heel. Altough it depends on how MVP heel character develops, as I see sooner or later MVP vs Taker.

I say he should try to go for the heavyweight title. Because the crusierweight title is pretty much dead at the moment.

i cant see rey in heavyweight title shot anytime soon mayb usa title but not heavyweight and im sure i read somewere like HBK he wanted lighter schedule more time off or maybe he could go againt jeff for ic title now wwe going with the mixed brands thing dunno but not hw title

WWE just mixed brands to promote Survivor Series, besides the obvious SD/ECW relationship. No way HBK is going to feud for the IC Title, he could feud Jeff Hardy, but not realted to the title, a la Undertaker agaisnt Mr. Kennedy. Besides HBK seems to be starting a feud with Kennedy.

MVP vs Rey Mysterio feud should be nice, altough considering we have already seen MVP vs Mysterio 3 times I don't see how they will make the fued interesting, but well, they pull it of with Cena and Michaels and then again with Finlay vs Mysterio, so I guess it is possible

I think he'll be the uppercard guy who just feuds with whichever maineventer who is temporarily out of the picture, and if serious injuries mount, he'll be the backup plan.

he's not going to win the WHC anytime soon but I can see him doing it at some point in the future...if he went to ECW it would be great and I would love to see the mathces between him and CM Punk

I'd like to see a Batista/Mysterio fued, but I doubt it happens anytime soon. I'm pretty happy that Mysterio's in Mid Card right now and I hope that he doesn't make it to the Main Event again unless there are tons of injuries/suspensions (GAB 06) I'd also like to see him go to Raw and fued w/ Michaels, Carlito, Morrison, Punk, and others...but I doubt that happens.
