Hey guys! I am trying to get more practice and more work to improve my booking skills, so I wanted to try to write someone else's card, and I wrote WWE's card for the Royal Rumble, and here's what I came up with. Also, keep in mind, this is the first Royal Rumble match or even Battle Royal match I actually worked hard on, so feedback on that match and the whole thing will be greatly appreciated. I hope you guys enjoy. :)

Apologies in advance for any formatting issues. Had typed this and tried to fit it to here.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Billy Gunn and Road Dogg
Closing Moments:
With the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg brought their A-Game to capture their sixth tag team titles in the WWE as the New Age Outlaws. As the kickoff match drew to a close, Road Dogg was in the ring with Goldust. Road Dogg has control in this match and he just hit a simple DDT on Goldust. He went for the cover and Goldust kicked out quickly after two. Road Dogg got back up and when Goldust made it to his feet, Road Dogg wrapped his arms around Goldust's waist and hit a belly to back suplex. Road Dogg got on his hands and knees before he was able to maintain a vertical base. Road Dogg went over and picked Goldust up and Goldust dropped to a knee and hit an uppercut to Road Dogg's jaw. Road Dogg stunned, Goldust got up to his feet and hit a Bulldog on Road Dogg. The fans got up and Goldust was making his way to his partner Cody Rhodes, and Road Dogg was doing the same with his partner Billy. Road Dogg made the tag right before Goldust did. Billy Gunn stepped through the ropes and started walking across the ring when Cody jumped up on the rope, and leaped at Billy Gunn and hit a forearm clothesline. Cody got back up and knocked Billy Gunn down with a few dropkicks to the lower leg. Cody then jumped up on the second rope and hit Beautiful Disaster on Gunn. Rhodes went for the cover and got the three count.

Cody's music played and him and Goldust celebrated in the ring, holding their title belts in the air. The brothers hug inside the ring, when Road Dogg rolls in the ring and Billy Gunn gets up. The two teams stand off before both of the New Age Outlaws offer a handshake and the Rhodes Brothers are quick to accept. The fans cheer at the mutual respect between these two teams, as the Rhodes Brothers continue to celebrate their victory at the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show.

Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt
Closing Moments:
The two having so much history, as rivals and for a short period of time allies, the two start off the main Royal Rumble show. The match came to a close, and Bray Wyatt had complete control of this one after irish whipping Daniel into the corner and then hitting a corner body avalanche. Daniel fell to the mat and was getting help up from the ropes. Bray ran at him, but Daniel pulled down the top rope and Bray Wyatt went over and to the floor. The crowd got up on its feet and Michael Cole made a Royal Rumble Match reference, that if Daniel does that later on tonight, Bray would be out of the match. Daniel Bryan got up and rebounded off the ropes and dove to the outside, taking Bray Wyatt out. The crowd was on their feet, cheering for their beloved Daniel Bryan. Daniel went up the steps and began the Yes chants. Daniel got inside the ring, while Bray Wyatt is getting up and slides under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Daniel rebounds himself off the ropes and Bray Wyatt hits a vicious clothesline on the oncoming Daniel Bryan, that takes him out. The crowd stops the Yes chants and silence fills the arena as Bray Wyatt creeps up to his feet. Bray picks Daniel up and laughs to the crowd, kisses Daniel on the forehead, and hits Sister Abigail. Bray then pins Daniel, to seal the win, and laughs.

Bray's music hits as he gets up and laughs before exiting the ring. He walks up the ramp, leaving Daniel Bryan in the ring, out cold, as Bray Wyatt just defeated his arch nemesis Daniel Bryan by himself, without any help from The Wyatt Family.

Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman
Closing Moments:
These two men broke a ring over a decade ago. If anything, these are two complete different people in the ring tonight. Near the end of this battle, Brock Lesnar had executed a standing double leg takedown, and began to fire forearm shots to Big Show with his left and fist punches with his right, trying to wear him down more. The referee had to get Brock Lesnar off of Big Show, which Brock Lesnar just stood beside Show and smirked at the referee. Brock Lesnar then picked Big Show up and hit a belly to belly suplex on the 7 foot, 500 pound giant! Brock then got back up and stepped over Big Show, and towering over him. Brock Lesnar picked up Big Show's head and dropped it on the wrestling mat. Lesnar then repeated this sequence until the referee got Brock Lesnar off. Brock was pissed at the referee and he went up to him and put him in the corner. Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar's associate and best friend, was trying to get Brock Lesnar away from the referee and to back off and focus on Big Show. It took some convincing but Brock Lesnar backed off. Brock Lesnar turned around and Big Show had gotten back up and hit the WMD on Brock! Brock fell flat to the mat on his back. Instead of Big Show going for the cover, he stood in the corner, looking at Brock Lesnar, laying down in the ring. Big Show waited for a minute and looked over at Heyman down on the outside of the ring before walking to Lesnar. Big Show picked Brock Lesnar up and took him by the throat. Big Show was going to pick him up and chokeslam him, but Lesnar elbowed Big Show once, and was pretty effective as Show released the grip of Lesnar's throat. Lesnar quickly transitioned and wrapped his legs around Big Show and locked in the Kimura Lock in the middle of the ring, to a standing Big Show. Big Show dropped to one knee as Brock put more and more pressure on it. Big Show then dropped to the second knee, as Lesnar maintained the grip and was putting pressure on Big Show to tap. Big Show then put Lesnar on his back in the middle of the ring, but Lesnar tightened the grip on Show's arm and kept it. Paul Heyman screamed to snap it and Brock looked over to Heyman. Brock didn't worry, as he turned Show's arm and immediately Big Show tapped with his other hand. The bell rung and the match was over by submission.

Brock's music hit and Brock kept the lock on until his music played for a few seconds before letting go. Big Show laid on his back, holding his arm, screaming and wincing in such pain. Brock Lesnar got up to a vertical base and the referee tried raising Brock's hand before he scared the ref off. Brock Lesnar stood there, without showing any remorse, looking out to the fans. Paul Heyman got in the ring with a big grin on his face and applauds Brock Lesnar for his match tonight. Brock Lesnar allows Paul Heyman to raise his hand high up in the air as the victor. Brock exited the ring, followed by Paul Heyman, as Paul talked to his associate up the ramp, as the referee called for medical attention to come from the back for Big Show.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton
Closing Moments:
The bitter enemies faced in the match to determine the undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion in a no disqualification match. These two hate each other so much that Orton's attacked John Cena's father two weeks before the Royal Rumble. Obviously, Orton did not take in how it might wake up a sleeping monster in John Cena for the match tonight, but he was probably thinking he could take Cena off his game for this match. Towards the end of this match, Orton had control after reversing an attempted AA by John Cena, into an inverted DDT. Randy got up and didn't even let Cena get to both feet, before Orton began hitting Cena with rights. A few punches connecting, Cena fell back down. Orton lurked over Cena and stomped on Cena a few times before holding onto the top ropes and stepping on top of Cena, standing on him as the referee counted to four before Orton would get off. Orton then waited for Cena to get up, in which case he ran at Cena, hoping to clothesline Cena over the top rope, but Cena dunked and wrapped his arm around Orton's waist and with instincts, nearly threw him over the top rope. But John Cena wanted to do something different and just dropped and slammed him down on the mat. The crowd cheered at the reversal and John Cena got on top of Randy Orton and started throwing relentless and aggressive punches, letting all his emotion out on a grounded Randy Orton, who was trying to block it with no success. The referee had to pry John Cena off of Randy Orton, in which Randy took the opportunity and pulled himself down and under the bottom rope, to get out of the ring. John Cena then pushed the referee to the side and hit a baseball slide on Orton from behind, as Randy's momentum pushed him into the barricade. John Cena got out and turned Orton around, resting on the barricade. John Cena threw punch after punch on Orton, before irish whipping Orton to the corner of the ring, where Orton hit his face on the steel ring post. Orton fell to the ground before Cena picked him up and slung his back into the barricade corner. Cena went off with nonstop stomps on the Viper. The referee got out of the ring to tell Cena to stop and get him in the ring, but this is where the thoughts might have creeped in for what Orton did to Cena's father. John Cena stopped stomping but picked Orton up and teased that he'd roll him inside the ring, enough for the referee to get back in it, but he reversed and threw Orton down into the ring steps. The crowd cheered as Cena then threw a few hard punches down on Orton. John Cena picked Randy back up and told the commentators to move, in which JBL, Michael Cole, and Jerry "The King" Lawler did. Cena smashed Orton's head on the commentary table cover before backing up a few steps and throwing Randy over the commentary table. John Cena then threw the cover off the commentary table and hopped on the commentary table. At that moment, Triple H began to walk down the ramp, loosening his tie. John Cena didn't notice and jumped off the table into the small space between it in the barricade, where Orton was. Cena threw a few punches before he got up and walked out from behind the commentary table, having a small limp in his step, when he saw Triple H coming around the ring. Triple H pointed his finger at Cena and told him to stand back. Triple H went behind the commentary table and picked up Randy Orton. Triple H pulled Orton and put him in the ring. Triple H walked up the steps and entered the ring as John Cena watched on, confused. Triple H told Orton to get up, and when Randy tried, Triple H pushed his foot across Randy's face, putting him back down. They did this until Triple H picked Orton up and held his chin, mouthing off to Randy before hitting a Spinebuster on Orton. Cena slid inside the ring and turned Triple H around and hoisted him up on his shoulders. The crowd erupted and John Cena hit the AA on Triple H! Triple H rolled to the edge of the ring as Cena looks at Orton and flips him over. Cena pulls him to the center of the ring before locking in the STF. Orton screamed in pain, but Cena put a whole lot of pressure on it, and Orton had his best interest in mind in tapping, and relinquishing the championship by way of submission.

John Cena's music played, but kept letting his emotions out, as he put pressure on the hold, and had the STF locked in. The referee tried getting Cena off of him, but Cena yelled and screamed and let it all out, all he's been through with having to give up the championship by injury, and what Orton did to his father, everything was coming out. Referees came down and all had to get Cena to release the hold. When Cena finally did, he posed to the fans and they cheered. He got the titles and dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring. He showed off the titles to the fans, letting some in the first row touch the belts. He got up to the ramp and hoisted them both high above his head, as Triple H was on the outside of the ring kneeling, angry at John Cena. Triple H got up and looked inside the ring at Randy Orton, disappointed and frustrated at how this match turned out, as Triple H ordered the referees to get out of the ring, for the Royal Rumble match next.

Closing Moments:
As the Royal Rumble match and event drew to a close, there stood four superstars in the ring. Damien Sandow was taking a breather in the corner, watching like the rest of us as NXT stars Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville were smart enough to go after Roman Reigns, someone who has already eliminated 8 people thus far. None of these four have ever won a Royal Rumble before, not a world title before, and Zayn and Neville have not even had a shot on the main show before! The clock ticked down as the final participant in the Royal Rumble was going to be announced, no clue from anyone who it'd be. The fans counted down with the clock, Five (5)... Four (4)... Three (3)... Two (2)..... Ooone (1)......! The buzzer sounded as "King of Kings" played and Triple H walked out in his gear, as the crowd was shocked, as Triple H was the final entrant in the Royal Rumble, and has the experience of winning a Royal Rumble before, and winning a world title before. Damien Sandow looked in the corner in awe as Triple H marched down the ramp and got in the ring, dead set on doing some justice. Triple H went to the corner and Damien got to a vertical base, while Triple H threw rights to the cornered Sandow. Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville had become distracted, and watched as Triple H beat on Sandow. Roman Reigns got up and pulled Adrian Neville and tossed him over the top rope, but Neville held on. Sami Zayn went after Reigns, but a punch put Sami to the mat. Reigns then kicked Neville a few times, but didn't get him down to the floor. Neville then lifted himself up and wrapped his legs around Reigns. Reigns didn't let Neville pull him over, but Reigns used the strength he had left to get Neville up and lifted the legs off his head, and Neville fell to the ground. The ring announcer let them know that Adrian Neville was eliminated, and this records Roman Reigns' 9th elimination of the night, two shy of tying Kane's record in a single Rumble. Triple H was in the corner and didn't eliminate Sandow, but got him into a bad position, in the corner. Triple H went and stared at Roman Reigns and looked at Sami Zayn who was getting up. Triple H nodded at Roman Reigns and they both charged at Sami Zayn, but Triple H stopped and Roman Reigns clotheslined Sami Zayn over the top rope, recording double digit eliminations now. As the ring announcer was announcing Zayn's elimination, Reigns turned around and Triple H clotheslined Roman Reigns, who fell to the floor, and the ring announcer announced that Roman Reigns had been eliminated, eliminating all hope of breaking or tying Kane's record, leaving the match with ten, and will not be going on to headline WrestleMania XXX. Triple H looked in the corner as Damien Sandow was trying with all his strength to get up. Triple H knew what he had, as he ran to the corner, but Damien Sandow moved out of the way, Triple H's sternum smashing in the turnbuckle, like a mini car crash. Triple H turned around and Damien Sandow charged at him and dropkicked Triple H, and a stunned Triple H toppled over the top rope and both feet touched the floor, as the bell rang.

"Hallelujah" sounded and Damien Sandow fell to both knees as he raised his arms up in the air, extremely happy at his victory. Some people were happy that Triple H didn't end up winning it, but the mass majority didn't like Damien Sandow winning it period. Confetti fell from the top as Triple H was angry and walked away, shaking his head, to the back. The Royal Rumble winner Damien Sandow got up and rested on the ropes, pointing to the WrestleMania 30 sign with confetti still falling from the ceiling, as he is now guaranteed a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania, and will look to claim his first world championship in New Orleans this year.
