It's just a sad state of affairs when you see the way the women are treated in NXT. They get nice feuds, important spots on the card, LOTS of time to do their stuff in the ring and you could say they get treated as equals. You take all that into account then you look at RAW and see probably their top 3 Diva stars and all we get is a rollup...

The money is obviously better on the main roster, but if you were a NXT Diva you'd probably be happier and better off staying in NXT which is sad to think.

Curtis Axel gets less than minute long matches, we just label him a jobber.

Woman jobs on same show, we need hashtags, because......Emma? What exactly should we have taken out of Raw last week? The Uso/Cattitude Era rematch? The Ziggler/Barrett match? Certainly wasn't going to be the mainevent.

Should've just kept the Divas match completely off the show and throw it on another show.

I can see why bomb.com wanted to go back to NXT during that episode of Total Divas.

Also I'm with Deezy on this unless it's bra and panties matches, I really don't care. plus I get all my woman's fix from NXT so, I'm fine with the divas being my piss break.

Surely when they are struggling to fill 5 hours of programming a week they could devote 15 minutes to Diva development. The stuff with Natalya and Naomi is blowing away the Bellas and Paige stuff. But why not involve Emma, Cameron, Natalya, Naomi, Summer Rae, Rosa and whoever else the fuck there is into matches against the Bellas or Paige. There are other ways to build divas without having Paige v Random Diva with the Bellas on commentary every second week.

NXT shows how a 6 minute match can be full of action, tell a story and further a storyline. It cannlt truly be that hard to attempt to take the divas seriously.

Can't see anything happening really with either of them, just more of the same of what we're getting on the main brand right now just with a different face as the champion.

They have given the Divas division more of a build than the IC and US titles since the titles inception, this is totally a knee jerk reaction because IMO, AJ and Paige killed off any interest that title had and the IWC hate the Bellas who are the major heels. Pair that with that with that stupid rumour of WWE not wanting the belt anywhere near Total Divas cast members and IWC fave Paige being in it.

It's like one big much ado about nothing movement that is misplaced. Sure there was Total Divas centric matches where the performers were too shitty to even give 3 minutes, but there was also that infinite(albeit boring) reign of AJ, and that feud with Paige that was supposed to raise the bar for women in wrestling.....They were given the time, you can't blame booking on them boring the audience with their lackluster performances.

I mean, I can look back on the Divas title history and see that there was more angles and feuds over that title than the US and IC title ever had.

Here is the most disturbing thing though... the Women's Championship should be teated as the pinnacle of women's wrestling, so should be treated like the WWE championship for women. Instead it gets treated like the Miss Wrestlemania crown they had a few years ago. There shouldn't be petty bullshit over who looks cuter, it should be women trying to prove they are the best wrestlers and entertainers in the business. WWE just seems incapable of making it seem anywhere near this.

Wrong thread, can't delete, so I will just respond to the below post.

I know that women's wrestling isn't treated with respect in WWE either by the bookers or by the fans, but back in the days where Lita and Stratus main evented RAW it was a different matter altogether.Unfortunately while the women's division is controlled by Total Divas there is no real hope.

Such a shame Kharma didn't stick around.

MSG event over the weekend had a 15 minute match between Paige and Nikki or Brie Bella and it was met with cheers such as "Pissbreak" and "Chris Benoit".....#GiveDivasAChance indeed.

Or we going to act like this New York crowd doesn't speak for all fans like people were making that Philly crowd at the Rumble?

Because the talent on the main roster isn't up to par, AJ Lee couldn't have a decent match to save her life. Paige and AJ were given a chance.....they didn't get over infont of a lve crowd.
