The Gunther one is kinda weird bc it was free use anyway and they just made a similar version. Idk the Def Rebel deal they have worked out but I feel like they're paid some royalties in some way when they're used or at least were paid for making the song so idk why they didn't stick with the free version

But I actually do like that one okay too, it was jarring at first but I don't mind it now when Gunther comes out

That song I don't count. It was made by Code Orange, not Def Rebel. Same with Rhea's theme. It was made by Motionless in White and not really a Def Rebel thing.

I can't say I have much of an issue with most of the NXT/PC recruits tbf, it's really just the changing of established ones to similar yet worse ones that I can't stand lmao just go completely different at least, I don't want to halfway hear the beat I liked with some horns thrown in

I like Baszler's current theme song better than her old one, it's a remake of her Shimmer theme song and she personally gave her input to def rebel about it

The version they used came from a production library so they had to pay for licensing it. But they were allowed to make their own version without paying for the rights as the song belongs to the public domain (as most of classical music does).
