Everyone seems to have ignored the fact that MVP is getting on. He seems fresh because he's new and has a fun gimmick but he's only 3 years younger then Triple H and everyone is so quick to say that Hunter is on his last legs.
I don't see MVP as the main event. Theres too many talented people in the World championship picture and just under who have 10 years to establish a legacy.
Why are they going to give the main event to someone whose whole life span in the company will probably be no more then 5 years, maybe lower then that because of his illness?
He's not going to be a good face for the company either. He's had almost 10 years in prison and affiliation to gangs. Ever wonder why he wears a full body suit? Its because he has gang tattoos and Malcolm X tatooed all over his torso. Do you really think WWE needs that kind of association after recent events right now?
This isn't the kind of guy who the WWE should be pushing and I don't think they will. There are equally talented younger guys who deserve the nod first.
MVP is brilliant for the mid card, he has charisma and is a great heel. Why does everyone want wrestlers who show any sign of talent or charisma to go straight to the main event.
Its saying every title is second class and pointless if you keep pushing all the personalities and talent onto the already crowded world title division. If you keep doing this nobody will ever care about the Intercontinental, US, Tag & Cruiserweight divisions anymore.
Theres about 5 people competing for the mid card titles right now and 15 for the top titles. Its such an imbalance already.
I've said this a million times and I'll keep saying it. Wrestlers can and should be popular/skillfull and not be chasing a World title.
