lol Eric pretty much got him every bit of the way. The point was that dude didn't know the facts of the company and the guy then kept trying to find out the facts so that in itself was pretty. Not to mention he kept trying to answer a question with a question. He is right in saying if the ratings aren't going up it's not because of the talent it's because of how the company is being ran.

The other guy wasn't prepared at all which is a shame because there are so many good points that he could have made to Bischoff. The ratings haven't moved in years and the costs have increased by a lot so you have to wonder if the new plan is working.

I believe that TNA gets far too much slack from the internet community in general for not being what most people(on the internet, at least) idealize them to be: A mainstream independent wrestling company.

People continue to say that the home grown talent i.e. Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels should headline shows when they've done so for years with the same impact on the product that Hogan and Bischoff had, minus the licensing and increase mainstream exposure. The talent brought in is remarkable and the company, in my eyes anyway, has been much more entertaining in the past few weeks than they have been in a long time. Roode/Storm is looking like it'll be excellent.

I'm glad Bischoff ranted on this guy. The guy wasn't nearly prepared enough to have a back and forth with a long time executive like Bischoff and deserved to be put in his place. I think people like him are the ones who end up giving the internet community a bad name, but alas this was awesome.

I think that what most people want TNA to be is an actual alternative to WWE rather than being WWE Lite. TNA too often focus on what WWE are doing and mention them too often because they are trying to be like them. They should accept and embrace that they are number two and realise that it isn't a bad thing at all.

The issue I have with all the former WWE/WCW talent getting jobs is that TNA have spent so much extra money on these other wrestlers yet the ratings remain the same and PPV buyrates remain the same. Those are the key revenue areas yet TNA haven't been able to increase them yet the wages for the roster would have increased dramatically.

Roode vs. Storm should have been good by TNA, like WWE, ruined a great angle early. Roode should have won the title at BFG, Storm shouldn't have then won it out of nowhere the next night and Roode definitely shouldn't have beaten him for the title two weeks later. TNA gave away two World title changes for free and they condensed a six month feud into three weeks.

Bischoff and Hogan are too interested in swerving the fans and in getting one or two spikes in ratings and aren't focussed on long term growth. I simply don't think that they should be anywhere near running the company, use them as weekly characters but don't give them control.

I'm not one to necessarily buy into everything the internet puts out as it mostly fits stereotypes cast...you'll never hear anything good about Randy Orton but you'll always hear when he's in a scandal, for instance.

Bischoff's job doesn't involve anything with the creative side, he's involved with producing the show and has stated many times he's not always happy with the creative side of things. While I think Hogan may have some clout, he surely isn't the head..that role apparently falls to Brother Love, haha.

But I think the issues largely remain with the creative and marketing stance the company takes rather than the talent.

He didn't defend himself against a nobody? I thought Bischoff was very articulate and correct in his responses. Considering he's contractually restricted from disclosing company financials and information, he shot down almost every point the interviewer was stating and turned it around on him.

I think that Bischoff and Hogan get a bad rep for things that have been happening for a long time in TNA. People were clamoring for change prior to their arrival in 2009 and they received it fairly quickly in the form of an older generation of stars--some marketable and profitable and some not so much. The stars who weren't adapting to modern times(Pac, Hall, Orlando Jordan, Nasty Boys, etc.) are already gone. Those who perform well(Anderson, Ray, RVD, Pope) are still around because they help the company more than they hurt it.
