Two days ago the rebels finally located Gaddafi. They dragged him out of a sewer where he was hiding, with a golden gun in his hand, beat him up and then shot him in the head. This was all filmed so thankfully there can be no false claims about him surviving it all. Good news that this criminal has been killed, he suppressed that whole nation for a long time and it is great that his reign of terror is finally over. He was a horrible person and got the death that he deserved.

Hopefully the billions of dollars he stole can be returned to the Libyan people and used to put their country in a better position. I am impressed by how quickly the rebels found and killed him.

Guano's here for a brief moment, but only because I've finally had sometime to myself to post something here.

I'm surprised that I'll be the first to comment on the death of Muammar Gaddafi, especially since the revolution in Libya had been going on for about 8 months? Don't quote me on that. There are still uncertainties with the country and only time will be able to tell where Libya goes from here. It's good to know that Muammar Gaddafi's reign has officially come to an end and I hope the Libyan people will be able to carry on there duties and have a democracy.

That is the big question about what happens next. We have seen in Egypt that even though the evil ruler is gone it is still a dangerous place with people trying to take advantage of the situation. What these countries need is quick elections so that the people can vote in who they want to be in charge. Bring in the UN or another impartial organisation to run the votes to ensure it is all legal and give them some ballot papers once candidates are announced. Hopefully it doesn't fall back to the way it used to be.

Also good to see you back posting Guano. Hopefully we see you more often

Thanks Troy, I'll try to be online a little more often but I can't make any real promises. I'll let you know though, that's for sure.

I'm highly skeptical on Libya having a speedy democratic election, especially since they've overthrown the dictatorship and a revolution. Troy is right! There will be a lot of "Theories and Questions", but for now it's a mystery and will definitely take time to recover from the eight month revolution. There is going to be a chance of another dictatorship in Libya, but it's highly doubtful, especially since what just happened.
