Kind of different when it is on NXT. Not really a highly viewed show.

It's still an acknowledgement though. It's similar to when Cena was hinting at "going somewhere else brother". That causes confusion to this day if he meant TNA or WCW.

Suppose you are correct. It does not happen as much as on TNA though.

I'll admit TNA are terrible for it. Especially Hogan he couldn't cut a promo without mentioning "those up north " at one point.

I think TNA should be a bit stricter on their content tbh. They sometimes let people ramble abit too much imo. They are better then the WWE scripting everything I'll admit that however.

There ought to be some balance.

WWE is too sterile. These guys know what NOT to say

Remember, Steve Austin was an accident. WWE never planned on him becoming what he did

how it all began kotr 96

"You sit there and you thump your bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere! Talk about your psalms, talk about John 3:16 ... Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass!"

Very true. A bit of TNA into WWE and vice versa would be great.

I'm not sure I'd call Austin an accident per say. He was displaying some tendencies of the Stone Cold gimmick from his ECW run in 1995. He wasn't planned to blow up as he did but they knew what he could do. If that makes sense.

His tag team run really benefited him too if I remember rightly.

Austin had a huge chip on his shoulder

He was uber PO'd about ... well... everything

Good guy or bad guy, Austin didn't care

I'm just glad, HHH, screwed up at MSG otherwise..... I cringe
