Yup, I agree. I'm actually a bigger fan of using old talent to propel younger talent, and it feels like I haven't witnessed a "passing of the torch" moment for eternity.
But unfortunately we aren't lucky to be seeing it outside of Jericho. Unfortunately, we have Angle, Sting (who sells seats, it's the same hate people had on Hardy over Aries and Roode, unfortunately it's what the majority of casuals want) and outside of that, you have Bad Influence vs Dirty Heels, Abyss is back, I'm really looking forward to how Sabin is going to give more attention back to the X-division, as Kenny King has been quality as hell so far, and the fact we only have two hours, with the focus FOR NOW being on the Aces and Eights, who are (sadly) trying to build up people like Bischoff and Brisco.
WWE has 6 hours+ of TV time while Impact has two hours weekly, and i would argue TNA has the better roster, with much better matches, and i honestly am not too huge on the 4 ppv per year schedule. Look at ER's booking, who do you see besides the shield being built well? Ambrose and Kofi were probably pre show before Ziggler went down, and now we have a flurry of matches like Orton/Show, Henry/Sheamus (face it, henry has been around 14 years) HHH and Bork, and Cena main eventing. TNA uses it's talent, name to me the last time WWE had a huge young star pushed besides the Shield (who we watched be beaten by Cena single handedly recently) The last one i can think of is Orton.
ETA: shit meant to quote him first and reply to you with "exactly"
