There's a lot of legitimate contenders here, I honestly think this is the best match card WWE's done for a WrestleMania in quite some years (the build to the card itself hasn't been great, in fact I'm not sure I'd say any of the matches have had a good build, but on paper, this card is just filled of show-stealers). So yeah, props to WWE, it's been quite some time since a WrestleMania card that looks this good, I don't even know how many years.
As for my pick, I have no idea. Asuka vs. Charlotte is probably the match I'm most anticipating and I won't be surprised if it ends up being the highlight of my night. I'll probably have a better grasp on whether or not I think it'd be match of the night when I watch the Mixed Match Challenge finale because I'm not sure WWE thought the tournament bracket through when they planned this, I really don't think they should've faced each-other before Mania in any capacity. But that's off-topic. Styles vs. Shinsuke is the obvious choice, I'm sure it'll be a great match, any match with Styles seems to be guaranteed for greatness but my expectations aren't nearly as high as the internet community tried to make it. The triple threat IC title match is a great choice. Rollins and Finn are two of the best in-ring workers in the WWE at the moment, and have been delivering great performances on a consistent basis as of late (Rollins especially), and while my opinion on Miz's in-ring work is considerably lower, the dynamic he adds here is going to great. The best thing about Miz as a wrestler is how much his matches are typically imbued with classic heel tactics, and I think having Miz there to constantly take advantage of the triple threat scenario is going to add a lot of flavour and drama to this match. When this was announced, I had it penned for match of the night, these guys will kill it.
Speaking of triple threats, the SDL tag teams could certainly steal the show too. The Usos & The New Day have basically stolen the show every single time they had a match on the card, the only real thing giving me pause is the Bludgeon Brothers. And I don't mean that as an insult on them, Rowan I'm kinda meh on but Harper I love, one of the best big man wrestler they ever had I think and I'm still bitter that he wasn't inserted into the WWE Championship match last year. However, the Bludgeon Brothers characters are presented heavily as forces of destruction, and while I don't think it'll be anywhere close to a squash, I don't expect it to be a back-and-forth competitive clash, the story of the match can't be if they're going to properly portray The Bludgeon Brothers characters. And that's certainly not a bad thing, you want different stories told throughout the night, but personally my favorite matches always tend to be the evenly competed ones, and I feel like this match will have shades of that but will lean more towards a story of The New Day & The Usos needing to cooperate against Bludgeon Brothers, and the drama will come from the thin line of that necessary alignment. Which is a good story, but one that I don't think will be match of the night for me.
Roman vs. Lesnar also has a chance for me, mostly based on the strength of their last encounter. Granted, a lot of why the match sticks out to me is the finish with Rollins, which was an absolutely brilliant decision but even prior to that I recall really enjoying the match. Now, I know this kinda contradicts my point earlier in the triple threat, though I am kinda expecting their second encounter to be more evenly contested, but I just thought it was worth mentioning since after all, this is one of the only matches were I have an established reference point on. And lastly, I just want to point out that I know most don't care about the cruiserweights at all especially when they're stuck forever in pre-show purgatory but Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali could definitely be match of the night. It won't likely have the crowd support to enhance the experience like the later matches will, and it might get snubbed for time but these two are extremely talented wrestlers and it will likely be a story of two evenly match contestants having a brilliant back and forth match.
Of course, listing like half of the card doesn't really constitute as making a prediction, I'd say probably the triple threat IC match. Really hard to make a call on this, and my mind will probably change by the time I hit reply, but whatever.
