Aries and Punk are one trick ponies when it comes to promos?

- Comedy

- Serious

- Comedy

They both have a variety of styles using different pacing and pitches. Calling them one trick ponies is a criminal exaggeration IMO.

I'll give you Punk, but with Aries I just feel like I am getting the same package each time I hear him talk. I love his ring work, but I feel like there is no depth to his character when he speaks.

I find Ziggler to be a bit overrated, buts thats mainly personal opinion. I see no reason to care for him. I like Dolph, but I ain't gonna cry if I don't see him.

Yeah, I agree with this. He definitely shouldn't be jobbing like he is, but I also don't think he's as great as some make him out to be.

How much of that is TNA's nonesensical booking though? His preGMTEL schtick was very much a different kettle of fish also. He's got his own style absolutely but the emotions different IMO.

Booking is definitely a factor, same with Punk in the E. And I admittedly need to see more of preGMTEL Aries to form a full opinion.

On the subject of mic skills. I kinda think Daniels' heel work is a bit overrated. It's good but too hammy at times. When he's a heel he tends to full comic book supervillain. Fun but not fitting all the time. Still love Daniels though

Yeah Daniels is that guy who has a great comedy edge but that's it, he's a one trick pony for me especially these days.

His Fallen Angel persona was interesting, but I need to see more of it before I can form a full opinion on it.

Of course there isn't but doing the same stuff all the time can quickly become dull. Do I love Daniels? Absolutely but that's the reason he can't be brought up as one of the great mic workers some make him out to be in my opinion.

I was never too hot on it in all honesty.

The whole IWC feels like it's a bunch of marks again. As many flaws as you can pick out of a Punk, or a Bryan, or even an AJ Lee, the fact that the IWC seems to be invested in "storylines" like Bryan getting screwed out of the belt is pretty fun to see. As much as Punk's left me being a blind fanboy of his and how great of a talker he is, he's not really that good of a wrestler. He's probably the least athletic guy in a top spot aside from the obvious names. Bryan is massively overrated right now, but there's nothing really wrong with that. Being worked is half the fun of wrestling.

You could almost call Ziggler underrated atm. The whole IWC seems to have given up on him.

Don't worry, Stop doesn't really think DZ is overrated. He was just posting that because we were having a discussion last night about why DZ couldn't be a long term top face for the company. I'm the only person overrating Ziggler and I'll continue to do so because he's the goddamn GOAT better than Savage and Flair

Long-term? He's 33 and will be past his prime in a few years.
