Most Disappointing Match of All Time

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX.

This match had a lot of potential but it failed because both guys were leaving.

Sting vs Hogan at Starrcade was by far the biggest disappointment. Easily the most noticeable "climax" in wrestling, as it all went down after one of the most built up matches of all time.

Punjabi Prision match sounded like it could be cool, was not.

I have to agree with you on that one. I was thinking yea a bamboo cell that's kinda bad ass...then it just failed.

The most disappointing match actually ended up being a feud and it was Razor Ramon vs 1-2-3 kid. This match really had some measure to it, but the count was quick and the shock was so fake it was not funny. However, it did help to jumpstart his career.

For me it was Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX only because I am a big Goldberg mark. Can't believe he went out like that.

I recall the rematch they did between Hogan and Rock being quite disappointing. I was also let down by the Orton/Punk and Orton/Christian feuds, he squashed both guys. Also Orton vs. Rhodes vs. DiBiase, that was the perfect time to put either guy over and he didn't.

Haha, some of the Orton/Christian matches from last year were amazing encounters. People are focusing way too much on booking when comparing wrestling matches now instead of the actual action in the ring.

Anytime Hogan has wrestled the last decade, and I know it seems so nitpicky but I hate people having to sell that leg drop as a devestating finisher.

He kicked out of the fucking RKO then Orton had to lie there like a cunt while Hogan dropped it on him and won.

Honestly, my most disliked match wasn't even a major pay per view one.

It was back in the old WCW when Goldberg took on Wrath. THAT should have been an epic fight. But instead, Goldberg beat Wrath in record time.
