the accent or the actual films?

im not looking forward to anything besides the avengers and the new RE movie tbh. nolan seems to have planned to put the final nail in batman's coffin from the looks of the new tdk trailer.

the actual films

I've seen like every Mike Leigh flick. Shane Meadows too. I also try to watch anything with Sally Hawkins in it because 1, she's a phenomenal actress, and 2, despite being unattractive...I'm in love with her :D

Ummmmmmm

Independence Day, Men In Black, Live Free or Die Hard. He's only been involved with about ten movies.

It might be trash, who knows, but that cast is awesome, so I'm giving it a shot.

Is there ever going to be a summer blockbuster that isn't a sequel or a remake? Anyone else of the school of thought that today's Hollywood creative magnates just aren't...creative any more?

:lmmmao: True. Never thought of that, but jesus christ, they literally ALL are prequels/sequels/remakes/trilogies.

American Reunion
The Avengers
Prometheus
Men In Black 3
This is Forty
Madagascar 3
Star Trek 2
The Amazing Spiderman
Ice Age: Continental Drift
The Dark Knight Rises
Total Recall
G.I. Joe 2
The Bourne Legacy
The Expendables 2

Jesus Christ. Only others I care to see which aren't sequels this summer are I Hate You Dad, Southern Rivals, and Neighborhood Watch, which are all comedies. Go figure. Battleship looks interesting I suppose.

independence day is one of the worst movies of all time.

will smith punches an alien in its outter protective suit and knocks it out cold for about 8 hours? really?

and then he manages to fly a space ship rofl. it's entertaining, but terrible. I don't even pay attention to casts anymore, the director is what I check for. The guy who's directing Total Recall has directed 3 other movies - Underworld, Underworld Evolution and Live Free or Die Hard. all mediocre.

on another note, that John Carter movie might be pretty good. The reviews are looking good. I didn't know what to expect..

21 Jump Street was fucking cool...

...and Wrath of the Titans was badass as all fuck. I might go back to see that shit again in 3D... which I hate, but it looked like it would be decent. Only thing I hated about it was that it seemed short as fuck, especially compared to Clash. But then again, it didn't seem like it ran on too long, so that's a plus.

21 Jump Street is probably my favorite film of the year so far. I have yet to see Cabin in the Woods, but heard that is really great and full of suspense, unlock most horror movies. Will have to see that soon. But yeah, Jump Street was great. At the beginning, when they're teabagging that dude Tatum arrested, that shit was gold. Probably my favorite comedy since Horrible Bosses.

Lulz. Of course...
