Ring of Honor's first Midwest events in 2016 are part of the ROH WINTER WARRIORS TOUR! On Friday, January 15th, we hit Indianapolis at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. And the very next night, ROH returns to the greater St. Louis area for Saturday, January 16th in Collinsville! We can now confirm the ROH World Television Champion, Roderick Strong, will be there BOTH nights and he intends to take on brand new challengers. But also just signed for Collinsville:
MOOSE VS. ADAM COLE
Two of ROH's biggest stars battle in Collinsville! On the heels of FINAL BATTLE, both Moose and Adam Cole have a lot on their minds, but they'll need to focus on each other January 16th.
Moose has embarked on a competitive rivalry with none other than former ROH World Champion, Michael Elgin. The two athletes pride themselves on their astronomical strength and surprising agility, so it comes as no surprise that they would eventually find themselves testing each other. At FINAL BATTLE, Moose eventually fell to Elgin's vicious Burning Hammer, but not before delivering on his promise to take his opponent to the limit. It seems clear this rivalry is not over, though the two of them ALSO make quite the formidable team!
But he has a huge singles challenge ahead of him in the form of another ROH World Champion, Adam Cole. Cole is embroiled in his own rivalry, but there's nothing "competitive" about the bad blood between Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly. At FINAL BATTLE, it looked like O'Reilly had Cole ready to tap out, when Cole stole a pin using the ropes for leverage. This feud is FAR from over.
But on January 16th, Cole and Moose go one-on-one! Most point to Moose as a "sure thing" future champion with limitless potential. A victory over someone as accomplished as Cole would go a long way toward a successful new year. But Adam Cole is always willing to cut corners - despite his own incredible skill - if it means a win. Stokely Hathaway needs to be on high alert when Moose and Cole collide in Collinsville!
