VIDEO: Jeff Jarrett returning to TNA wrestling.
BACKSTAGE: Jeremy Borash and Sting.
JB: Alright, I am here with “The Icon”, our TNA World Champion, Sting! Stinger, tonight you are headlining to card with AJ Styles, any thoughts going into your huge match still to come tonight?
Sting: Jeremy, if you have been in this business as long as I have, you would probably know the answer to that, but the thing is I don’t even know. See, it’s not everyday you have a veteran in a locker room full of young talent actually holding the world’s title. I have held title after title in this business, but that’s years ago. This is different, this one took me by surprise, it took everyone by surprise last month at Victory Road when I got the belt.
JB: Well what about your opponent AJ Styles?
Sting: AJ is the future of TNA. I always love putting myself into my opponent’s position to get a feel of what they are feeling during times like these. I for one am glad that AJ got another shot, he survived the tournament to get this shot, which I believe he should have gotten automatically, and it’s just great he’s where he is. I have heard the rumors, I have heard the odds, it’s elder vs. Stud, its past vs. present, well I have heard that over and over again, and I always say it, never count the Stinger out, because it’s SHOWTIME!
