It'll be cool if at the end Ultraman Tiga appears and that calls for a Triple Threat Sequel

Anyone else thinks they will introduce other Kaijus in Godzilla vs King Kong?
No...because the full rights to Godzilla revert back to Toho
after 2020 so they can start building their own Kaijuverse...
which is their overall plan with the sequel to Shin Gojira
being scrapped & the animated films simply being an
experiment while they wait for the full rights to revert.

A simple no would have done it, you know. Yeah, I know Toho would get the rights of Godzilla, which is great, but still with the way companies "build universes" it won't surprise me if they tease the next Godzilla film or something. Though as much as I love Godzilla and Kaiju in general, I think them building a universe could be bad given the recent track record with them in Hollywood.

Not when it comes to kaiju it doesn't...not from me.

Technically Toho had a kaiju-verse during the Showa era...
with Destroy All Monsters acting as the Avengers of that
universe at that time.

I'm sure Toho will have a smart long term plan in place
before they get started.

Not like the "Dark Universe" & the DC comic book films...
which were simply awful ideas before the cameras even
started rolling.

I trust Toho because I know they want to protect their product...
unlike Hollywood who simply want the quickest & cheapest
path to more money no matter what happens to the characters
& creations in the process.

I mean, I know have done a universe, and like you I do trust Toho to make a great universe, but still.

But...what?
I have doubts that they will make it good because Unverises seem to be the thing right now, and many of them suck for they just copy others, and while I have good faith in Toho, due to it being non-American, I still have some doubts about it because of them changing some things around to appear to a more casual fan base then anything and a few other problems.

Have you seen their most recent Godzilla movie?

If I had to make an educated guess...I'd say that
Toho will start with stand alone films for Godzilla,
Mothra & Rodan...and if things pieces of the puzzle
aren't fitting together...they will likely just stop the
process & start over again.

The Shinsei Era showed that Toho are willing to be
somewhat creative in their approach with their kaiju
films...so I guess I'm not that worried.

And of course if nothing seems to stick...well...they
could always go back to Shin Gojira & let them do
their sequel...even if it does involve those humanoid
tail mutation nightmares...

Seriously...that's some creepy $hit...

Seriously...that's some creepy sh*t...
I could see Rodan and Mothra getting solo films and them building everything as you said. Also, I do see and even agree with you said about if Toho sees what they are doing isn't right, then they scrap and start over, which is fine, but it seems wasteful in a sense. I wouldn't say I am worried as much as cautious as I have been burned way too many times with "universe" movies. So I don't want to get all hyped and such and then it fails me, you know.

Here is 3 variations of the final trailer.

Godzilla and his glow makes him more imposing, scary, and fearless than the other ones.

That part where they say "Maybe he's on our side" and " this is Godzilla's world we just live in it" touches me.
:,)
