OOC: Yeah, I'm back with a new Be The Booker. The main thing that will separate this from the others, though, is that I have results constantly churning out, seeing as I'm playing this in EWR at the same time.

Also, yes, I have different user names at different forums.

Monday Night Raw: The New Beginning

Back Story: Vince McMahon was amazed. He had a talent roster unparalleled to any other in professional wrestling today. However, he knew something wasn't right. Only a year prior, WWE, or, more specifically the flagship show Monday Night Raw was averaging ratings in the 4.0's. Now, however, Raw was struggling to reach a 3.5, a loss of over 500,000 viewers in a matter of a year. With wrestling being on the decline since a tragic Double-Murder Suicide, Vince McMahon called for a shakeup.

On June 30th 2008, C.M Punk officially won the World Heavyweight Championship when he cashed in his Money In The Bank contract. This sparked the ratings for a brief period of time, something his $1,000,000 giveaway only weeks prior hadn't. However, something sparked in his head that it's the superstars of today, rather than living on nastalgia, that is going to advance WWE to the future.

Vince McMahon had called C.M Punk in for a meeting regarding WWE, considering he had just become champion. Vince knew about Punk's background on the independent scenes, and was very interested about his stomping grounds, seeing as if Punk could be this successful, there were bound to be more successful stars from where he came from.

C.M Punk mentioned Ring Of Honor, the company that, very much like the original ECW, was a growing company supported only by the fans. However, Punk knew they were struggling financially. Suddenly, Vince knew what he knew he had to do.

Learning from past mistakes by killing ECW, Vince had no intentions to kill ROH. However, he did have a deal for ROH. What Vince wanted was the use of some of their top stars in return for financial backing as an official developmental territory for WWE. Ring Of Honor was honored by this gesture, but knew it would be against the very doings of what the company was based off of. The risk of a talent exchange between the two companies, though, was too much for ROH owner Cary Silkin to turn down, seeing as they wanted to become more of an entertainment based show, regardless. The wrestlers could barely oblige, finally getting a chance on the big stage.

And so the deal was officially set on November 31st. After months of scattering details, allowing WWE superstars on off days to appear for ROH in exchange for the use of all ROH stars on the show as they pleased. WWE wasn't about to call up every single person on the roster, but rather use a few sparingly, and let ROH keep mostly to themselves, while having most in development to grow as better entertainers and wrestlers.

With this done, Monday Night Raw on December 1st would mark a brand new era for the WWE. With C.M Punk still reigning as the World Heavyweight Champion, things were about to be shaken up.

Note: I will only be covering up Monday Night Raw. The PPV's will only be Monday Night Raw, and some roster cuts have been made.

With this new initiative, things look to be heating up this Monday night on Raw.

With C.M Punk reigning as champion, a Beat The Clock challenge has been made for Monday Night. We can confirm that 6 WWE superstars will partake in 3 electrifying matches to determine who will face off against the World Heavyweight Champion C.M Punk at Armageddon. WWE.com has been informed of the matches taking place this Monday, and they should be great contests.

Beat The Clock Challenge:
John Cena Vs. John Bradshaw Layfield
Randy Orton Vs. Rey Mysterio
Batista Vs. Shawn Michaels

Along with the Beat The Clock Challenge, a new General Manager will be assigned to Raw! As if that wasn't enough, there will be 2 debuting superstars from Ring Of Honor!

Also, WWE Champion C.M Punk will be in action, taking on former WWE Intercontinental champion William Regal!

Out of the new BTBs now, this looks to have the most potential, and I am actually interested. One question though. When you say complete roster does it still mean that other ROH stars can still compete? And can the new ROH stars on the roster compete in ROH? Plus, here's a tip for your BTB. Sign RVD. All the best BTBs have him. He's like a good luck charm. He pwns.

Well, in my EWR game that i did this in, I signed all ROH workers to open contracts, seeing as I didn't want to kill off Ring Of Honor. In exchange for the use of several stars, they would still be aloud to work ROH shows, just not when they have commitments to the WWE.

In exchange, with permission from the WWE, ROH can use wrestlers from the WWE roster as they please, as long as both the talent and the date are acceptable.

As far as RVD, I have a lot of stuff planned out right now, none of which particularly involved RVD, but I wouldn't leave out the possibility of him coming in somewhere down the line.

Thanks for the response :)

That's imagination, or did you actually pull it off at EWR

Well, if you can sign them to an open contract, then supposively they can work with other federations, as well.

It's just the scenario I came up with...

Monday Night Raw: December 1st 2008
Providence, Rhode Island

The show starts off with a tremendous fireworks display, but no opening video package. Instead, the music of WWE Chairman of the board Vince McMahon hits over the arena's P.A. system. McMahon has a rather serious look on his face, completely ignoring the hostile crowd reaction to him. He looks throughout the crowd, and deep inside of him he knows that change needs to happen. He sighs, before raising the microphone to his mouth.

McMahon says that throughout history, man has been very subjective to war. Wars are fought long and hard, but throughout, it's very difficult to deny what would be good, and although some things he most certainly doesn't like, eh can't deny they were good. He says that a common saying around the world is to keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. McMahon then closes his eyes, deep in thought. He gulps, before talking again.

McMahon goes on to say that there has been one enemy in his life that will always be his enemy, but now it's time for him to step back and watch on as Chairman of the Board, and remain in his duties running the company. McMahon says that time have most certainly been tough, but this man helped usher in a new era and defeat WCW. McMahon says he doesn't like it, but he's counting on this man to help usher in the new generation. McMahon closes his eyes deep, and points his finger behind him.

The crowd awaits in anticipation, before glass shatters and the crowd ERUPTS into a frenzy! Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out onto the stage, looks at McMahon, and grabs the microphone straight out of his hand. McMahon looks embarrassed, but extends his hand in regards. Austin shrugs is off, pats McMahon on the back, and then delivers a huge Stone Cold Stunner to McMahon!

Much to the approval of the crowd, Austin makes his way down to the ring, microphone in hand. He asks the crowd to give him a hell yeah if they're ready for him to be general manager, to which they happily respond yes to. McMahon says that Stone Cold delivered a big one to McMahon, but not to take it personal, it's only for old times sake.

Stone Cold then says that during the Attitude Era, things had a more competitive edge to them. Stone Cold then announces that in order to try to bring back more of a competitive edge, there will now be time limits on all matches on all matches unless stated otherwise.

Stone Cold also announces that tonight, the three Beat The Clock challenges will feature the top contenders on Raw, and the winner will face C.M Punk at Armageddon for the World Heavyweight Championship. Austin says that since Punk, who has proved himself a champion in the past 5 months, will continue to be a fighting champion tonight, as he takes on William Regal in a non-title match. Austin, however, says if Regal can pull off a victory, he will receive a title shot in the near future.

Austin also says that a talent exchange has started between ROH and WWE. Austin says that the ROH guys have proven nothing yet, and will need to step up big time in order to get in good graces with Austin. Austin says that tonight is a historic night, and now that he's general manager, things won't ever be the same.

----Commercial Break----

Bryan Danielson is backstage with Todd Grisham. Todd welcomes Bryan to Raw, and says that Bryan will be the first Ring Of Honor superstar to come to Raw. Danielson tells Todd to get out of his face, because through-and-through, he held the Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Championship for 15 months, and plays second fiddle to no one. Danielson says he is not only the best wrestler on Raw, but the best in the world, and he will prove it tonight.

We cut to ringside, where Lillian Garcia announces the opening contest, with a 10 minute time limit.

1st Match: 10 Minute Time Limit
Bryan Danielson Vs. Paul London

The two have a feeling out process, before Danielson begins to brutally attack London with a large array of kicks to London’s legs and midsection. Danielson eventually out-maneuvers London as he tried to use his speed against Danielson, and takes him down to the mat with a sick looking Fujiwara arm bar. London manages to escape, and connect with a huge Leg Lariat, followed by a Hurricanrana, sending Dragon out of the ring. London went for a Tope Con Hilo, but Danielson moves out of the way! Danielson then slides London into the ring and hit’s a huge Northern Lights Suplex! Before London gets time to recover, Dragon takes London up and hit’s a HUGE Full Nelson Suplex, continuing to target the head. Danielson then releases the pinning predicament created from the suplex, and sets London upright, before repeatedly driving his elbow into the side of London’s head! The referee checks London, who is unconscious, and calls for the bell.
Winner: Bryan Danielson(6:10)

Danielson gets up, proud. He looks down at London and spits at his body, before climbing the top rope and pointing to himself, yelling "Best In The World!"

We cut backstage, where Stone Cold is drinking a beer, in his office. A knock is heard on the door, before a disgruntled Stone Cold yells "Come in!" In comes a familiar face, former ECW star Jerry Lynn. The crowd gives a lukewarm reaction to Lynn, as Stone Cold welcomes him to Raw. Stone Cold mentions that age has caught up with Jerry, and he seems a little over the hill to be on a prime time television show. Lynn shakes his head, and says that he still has what it takes to role with the big guns. Austin chuckles, pats Lynn on the shoulders and says that next week, he will get the chance to prove himself when he is in singles action. Lynn tells Austin he won't let him down. Austin says don't worry about letting him down, but letting himself down.

----Commercial Break----

We come back from break, and John Cena is standing by with Todd Grisham. Todd welcomes Cena, and mentions that his match tonight is with long time rival, John Bradshaw Layfield. Cena says that tonight, he will come one step closer to fulfilling his dream one more time. Cena says that he originally beat JBL for the title at Wrestlemania 21, but JBL also defeated him at The Great American Bash, so he has vengeance on his mind. Cena says it won't be long until the champ is back.

JBL makes his way to the ring first, and says that Cena is full of it, and has been nothing since he tore his pectoral muscle in 2007. JBL says that Cena was just a flash in the pan. Cena interrupts, and runs to the ring, wasting no time.

2nd Match: Beat The Clock Challenge
John Cena Vs. John Bradshaw Layfield

Cena jumps right at JBL, battling him to the ground with a Thesz press, and coming down on him with hard punches, right and left. JBL shoves Cena off, but Cena continues his furry of offense, before Cena trips up and JBL is able to shove him outside the ring. JBL follows Cena, and then whips him hard into the steel steps! JBL stands dominant as we head to commercial.

----Commercial----

Back from commercial, JBL has isolated Cena's arm, keeping him down with an arm bar. Cena slowly starts to rebuild momentum, though, fighting back through the pain. He manages to get to his feet, and take JBL down with a hard clothesline! JBL gets to his feet, and Cena begins to mount a comeback. Cena ducks a huge clothesline, and catches JBL with the spin out power slam! Cena tries for the 5 knuckle shuffle, but JBL gets out of dodge. JBL goes for a big boot, but Cena ducks under, and lifts him for the FU! JBL slips out from behind, though, and shoves Cena into the ref! The ref backs into the corner, as JBL low blows Cena! JBL then bounces off the ropes, comes back and hits a huge Clothesline From Hell! JBL covers, and the ref slowly regains his composure and counts the three.
Winner: John Bradshaw Layfield(13:00)

JBL celebrates with a huge grin on his face, heading to the back. In the ring, Cena looks on angrily at JBL, as Cena slowly gets to his feet.

Backstage, C.M Punk is seen in his locker room, lacing up his boots. Right next to him lay the most covenanted prize in all of professional wrestling, the world heavyweight championship. Right then, Randy Orton bursts in the door. Punk shoots up and stares Orton down. Orton tells Punk that his reign has been all luck and nothing he has done has been able to prove himself worthy. Orton says that although Punk has beaten several top stars on Raw, Orton isn’t just another top star. Punk grins and says we’ll see about that. Orton devilishly looks into the eyes of Punk, before the scene cuts to commercial.

----Commercial Break----

Back from commercial, the World Tag Team Champions Priceless, consisting of Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase are standing in the middle of the ring, the tag titles hoisted over each one’s shoulder. Ted Dibiase had a microphone in his hand, and a very cocky smile on his face.

Dibiase says that throughout the past few months, they have waged on a war with Cryme Tyme, and have come out victorious along with way. Dibiase notes that there aren’t any other teams of note on Raw they haven’t beat, so right now, an open challenge is being issued. Dibiase notes that since Ring Of Honor is in town, anyone wanting to embaress themselves can come to the ring right now.

As he says that, “Give Me Back My Bullets” by Lynard Skynard hits over the P.A. Several fans cheer the team, who are announced as The Briscoe Brothers. Mark and Jay Briscoe make their way down to the ring, slapping a few fans hands as they make their down. The hope up onto the apron, and into the ring. A small ROH chant comes from an upper section, but most the crowd is clueless. DiBiase asks who they are, and that they look like two hicks straight from a farm. Mark grabs the microphone and says that they are the Briscoes Brothers, and they may be from a farm, but they are the toughest sons of bitches around, and they are about to prove that. Priceless laugh, but Mark yells “MAN UP, SON~!” at his brother, Jay. The match commences as Jay and Cody start.

3rd match: 10 minute time limit- Non Title
Priceless(Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes) Vs. The Briscoe Brothers

The match starts off with Cody taking Jay off guard, taking him down to the mat with a waist lock. Jay struggles to get out of the hold, before reversing it to an arm wrench. Rhodes struggles as he gets to his feet, and drops Jay down with a drop toe hold. Cody ultimately dominates on the mat, and Cody and Ted begin to constantly tag in and out, keeping each other fresh. Finally, Jay counters a Back Drop Suplex, landing on his feet, and his a big Yakuza kick to the side of Cody’s head! Jay struggles, but makes a tag to Mark, ad Cody tags Ted. Ted comes in, but Mark springboards and hit’s a huge springboard corkscrew cross body, taking Ted down hard! Cody comes in, but Mark begins to hit him with a few back hand slaps, followed by a huge dropkick, knocking him out! Ted comes from behind, but Jay takes care of him, coming from behind with a springboard dropkick! Ted gets frustrated, and clotheslines himself and Jay over the top rope! Cody comes in, and tries for the DDT, but Mark reverses, crosses Cody’s arm over his throat, takes him up and hit’s a huge Cut Throat Driver! Mark pins Cody, and gets a huge upset!
Winners: The Briscoe Brothers(8:02)

Jay, who had taken down Ted on the outside, comes in the ring with a wide grin on his face. “Give Me Back My Bullets” comes back on the sound system as the Briscoes pick up a huge win over the world tag team champions. Ted takes Cody out of the ring, and puts his arm around him. The Briscoes signal for the belts as Cody And Ted back up the ramp, clutching onto the tag belts.

Backstage, Chris Jericho is seen walking to the ring.

----Commercial Break----

Chris Jericho comes out to the ring to a loud chorus of boo’s. Jericho has a cocky smile on his face as he walks to the ring dressed in wrestling attire. Chris Jericho asks for a microphone, and receives one.

Jericho absorbs a huge “You Suck” chant, smiling the whole way throughout. Jericho, once the crowd dies down, pick up the microphone to his mouth with a big grin on his face.

Jericho says he remembers when he was struggling to make it in the business. He recalls working in Japan, Mexico, and even in the Hart Dungeon as a part of his storied and legendary career. Jericho says that he came to the original ECW and stood out so much, that WCW picked him up, but ultimately underutilized him. Jericho says that although he can sympathize with the Ring Of Honor talent wanting a break, this is now his company, and his shot in the spotlight. He makes note that he is the man who defeated the new general manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock in the same night to become the Undisputed champion, and is now on the number one wrestling show in the entire world, Monday Night Raw. Jericho says that the new people are going to try to take the spotlight he worked 18 years for, and he wasn’t going to let it happen tonight.

As he continues talking, “Personal Jesus” by Marilyn Manson comes over the sound system. Again, a rather small pop comes from the stands as former ROH champion Austin Aries comes out to a small reaction. Aries, in wrestling attire, hops into the ring and asks for a microphone himself. Aries stares up and down Chris Jericho, before beginning to speak.

Aries points out that much like Bryan Danielson, he is a former Ring Of Honor World Champion. Jericho claps, sarcastically, and tells Aries that he is proud of him for holding a second rate title. Aries introduces himself formally, but Jericho says he doesn’t care, and calls Aries a junior. Aries, beginning to get aggrevated, says that Chris is at an age where most wrestlers are on their way out, and Aries, not Jericho, now deserves the spotlight. Jericho chuckles at the remark, before slapping Aries. Aries, enraged, pounces on Jericho. The two begin to brawl, before a referee comes down to the ring. Jericho sneaks out of the ring, under Aries’ assault, with a microphone. Jericho says that they were scheduled to have a match tonight, but due to the disrespect shown by Aries, that won’t be happening. Jericho says that next week, he will be prepared to take on Aries. Aries stares down Jericho, on the ramp, with malicious intent, as the scene slowly fades.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio is seen on his way to the ring, for his match, up next.

----Commercial Break----

We come back from commercial, with Rey Mysterio already in the ring. Highlights are shown of No Way Out 2006, where Orton beat Mysterio. The announcers note that Rey wants revenge, but if he wants it, he needs to do it in under 13 minutes, due to the Beat The Clock.

Orton comes to the ring to a very mixed reaction, mostly the older section of the crowd cheering on Orton.

4th match- Beat The Clock #2
Randy Orton Vs. Rey Mysterio
Time To Beat: 13:00

Orton starts off trying to catch Rey, but Rey dodges almost everything Orton goes for, using his agility to out maneuver the 3rd generation star. Rey manages to duck a short armed clothesline and his a dropkick to the knee’s, knocking Orton down to one knee. Rey tries for a springboard cross body, but Orton catches Rey in midair and chucks Mysterio into the turnbuckle! Orton then begins stomping the heck out of Rey in the corner, hitting a huge array of boots, nothing fancy. Orton pulls Rey to the middle of the ring, trying for an early pin, but Rey manages to roll a shoulder up. Orton continues to target Mysterio’s head, hitting two consecutive knee drops before going into another cover. The frustration on Orton’s face is beginning to grow, as evidenced by his temper. Orton takes Rey up and whips him into the corner. After stalling, Orton runs at Rey, but Orton wasted too much time! Rey summersaults out of the way, going from behind and sneaking a rollup, almost catching Orton! Rey then begins to fire up, hitting a wheeling bulldog, followed by a springboard leg drop. Rey covers, but Orton’s strength is able to push Rey right off of him. Rey goes right back, hitting a leg drop to Orton, before heading to the top rope. Rey jumps off as Orton begins to get up, going for a cross body, but Orton catches and turns him into a power slam! Orton covers, but gets a 2 count. Orton checks the clock, seeing 5 minutes remaining. He begins to work over Rey’s head again, hitting his patented neck breaker before finally signaling for the RKO. Orton stalks Rey, and jumps up for the RKO, but Rey pushes him out of the way! Orton quickly tries to come back, but Rey hit’s a drop toe hold and sends Orton down into the middle rope! Rey signals for the 619, and hits it! Orton flies back 3/4th of the way across the ring as Rey is on the apron. Rey springboards as Orton slowly gets to his feet, but as Rey tries for the sit down plancha, Orton catches his head and plants him with the RKO! With a little over 2 minutes to spare, Orton is able to secure the victory!
Winner: Randy Orton(10:42)

Post match, Orton smiles intently. He looks at his time, as he heads to the back.

----Commercial Break----

Back from commercial, Stone Cold Steve Austin is seen walking backstage. He runs right into Randy Orton, who is fresh off a victory. Orton reminds Austin the time in 2003 when he cost him his job. Austin chuckles, and then asks Orton if he remembers the time when he took near nude photo’s of himself in his hotel room. Orton tells Austin to piss off, as Austin walks away with a smile.

Back to the ring, Lillian Garcia announces the following contest is a non-title contest, schedules for one fall, with a 20 minute time limit.

William Regal makes his way down to the ring with an entourage of jeers from the crowd in Providence. He is accompanied by his valet, Layla, who is dressed very well to the occasion. Regal makes his way into the ring with a cocky grin on his face.

Following this, C.M Punk makes his way to the ring to a tremendous ovation, second only to Austin tonight. He looks valiantly throughout the crowd, smiles, and slides under the bottom rope into the ring. He unbuckles his World Championship and hands it to the time keeper.

Match #5: Singles Contest- Non-Title
C.M Punk Vs. William Regal
20 Minute Time Limit

The two start out in a test of strength of sorts, with Regal overpowering Punk. Regal gets Punk down to his knee’s, before Punk pushes himself back up to his feet. Regal, though, goes behind Punk and trips him, still maintaining the grip. Regal holds onto the hands of Punk, as he goes to his knee’s and tires to pin Punk’s shoulders down to the mat. Regal continues to pressure, Punk getting his shoulder up at one or two each time. Punk manages to climb to his knee’s, and send his head into the abdomen of Regal. Regal breaks the hold, and Punk almost gets Regal with a small package, but Regal is able to get out of that, and then murder the champion with a huge lariat. Regal continues to work over the head of Punk, stretching him out with a variety of submission holds. Punk keeps trying to fight back throughout with his own chain wrestling, but the experience of Regal proves to be a lot. Regal manages to expertly apply a single leg Boston Crab, keeping Punk struggling on the mat, after a while. Punk tries for the ropes, but as he almost reaches them, Regal pulls him back to the center of the ring. Punk manages to fight, reaching the ropes after a long struggle. Regal tries to pull Punk back to the center, but Punk shoves Regal with his feet off of him and onto the mat. Punk quickly gets to his feet, as does Regal, and Punk whips Regal into the corner. Regal moves, but Punk leaps to the second turnbuckle, and then comes back with a cross body at Regal! Punk keeps on him for a cover, but didn’t hook the leg, allowing Regal to kick out. Punk then begins at Regal with some judo strikes, before whipping him into the corner. Punk runs, and hit’s a vicious knee lift! Punk tries for a bulldog, but Regal pushes him out of the way! Punk comes back at Regal with a clothesline, but Regal ducks and hit’s a SICK Regal-plex onto Punk, dropping him on his head! He takes Punk up and goes for the knee lift, but Punk manages to stand up, spin Regal around and hit a HUGE GTS out of no where! Punk struggles, but manages to make a big cover for the win.
Winner: C.M Punk(12:17)

Post match, Punk celebrates with his world title, as we head to commercial. The main event is being plugged next.

----Commercial Break----

Backstage, Batista is backsage, alone, with a microphone. He says a message short and simple. He says that tonight, he respects Shawn Michaels, but his desire for the World Championship is even greater then any respect in the world. Tonight, he will stop at nothing to win.

Lillian announces the following match as the main event, being the last beat the clock match. The time to beat is 10:42.

Lillian announces the first competitor, Batista! Batista comes out to a big pop from the Rhode Island fans. He makes his way to the ring, and awaits his opponent.

Lillian then announces his opponent, the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels! Michaels gets a tremendous ovation from the crowd, giving high fives on the way down the ramp. He makes his way into the ring, and the bell rings.

6th Match- Main Event: Beat The Clock
Shawn Michaels Vs. Batista
Time To Beat: 10:42

Batista wastes no time, running after Shawn, but Shawn moves out of the way and sends Batista into the buckle! Immediately, Shawn lightens Batista up with several chops, but Batista takes Shawn by the shoulders and reverses him into the turnbuckle. He then bends down and begins to ram his shoulders into the abdomen of HBK. Shawn knee’s Batista before he can do anymore damage, and Shawn bounces off the ropes, comes back, but is met with a devastating power slam from Batista! He covers, but Shawn gets out at 1. Batista continues to try and assault Michaels, but Michaels keeps reversing everything Batista does, having him scouted. Finally, Batista nails Shawn with a huge spear at the 5 minute mark! Batista covers, but Shawn gets his shoulder up. Batista continues to stomp away at HBK, trying to keep him down, but Shawn keeps on fighting. Batista takes Shawn up for a suplex, but Shawn won’t allow it, and then steps back, takes Batista, hit’s an atomic drop, bounces off the ropes, and hit’s a double sledge takedown! HBK kips up, as Batista is reeling! Shawn lightens up The Animal with a series of chops, before knocking him down hard with a clotheslines. Batista gets to his feet, and Shawn is able to hit a scoop slam! Shawn heads to the top rope, and successfully hit’s a huge Elbow Drop! Shawn looks at the clock as only 30 seconds remain! Batista slowly gets to his feet, Shawn ancy. Batista is up, and Shawn drills him with a Superkick! Just as Shawn is about to cover, RANDY ORTON runs down to ringside! Orton hops up onto the apron, but Shawn super kicks him off! Shawn goes to cover Batista, but as he does, time runs out!
No Contest(10:42)

Post match, Shawn takes Batista to his feet. Batista, visibly frustrated, tries to walk away. Michaels turns him around and extends his hand, to which Batista hesitates, but reluctantly agree’s to shake his hand. Meanwhile, on the ramp, C.M Punk has come out on the top, looking at his Armageddon opponent square in the eyes, as Orton gets to his knee’s, eyeing C.M Punk at the top of the ramp. Wrestling Observer:

-Monday night's Raw scored a 3.4 cable rating, with a 5 share. This number is up from previous weeks.

-WWE are said to be very pleased with the debuting ROH talents. Look for several new talents to debut in the upcoming weeks and months, as Vince McMahon has become completely for this project and direction.

-The Beat The Clock Challenge was said to be a huge success backstage, as several people were happy with not only the matches, but the angles that will result from the matches.

-Apparently, there will be a major angle coming soon, and we have begun to see the beginning stages on Raw this week. They may be small, but they're present.

Guest
Austin/McMahon- Good promo, although the recap promo style isn't really as effective as writing lines out. Austin as GM is alright I guess, and at least it will be fresh.

Time limits suck.

Danielson v London- This did a pretty good job at getting Danielson over, he should be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.

Austin/Lynn- Yay? He should win next week.

JBL v Cena- I see you aren't going to use a superman Cena like run. JBL is alright, but he better not win the BTC challenge. How did the ref get bumped, then back into a corner, then get knocked out?

Punk/Orton- Feud plz~! This also tells me that Orton will win. Badish move, as the others should have gotten promos/altercations aswell.

Priceless v Briscoes- Nice little pre match altercation here, to go with a nice little match. Also, dont just have all ROH stars bury the WWE guys.

Jericho/Aries- This was a good promo here, but again the style makes it suffer. I can see either a Jericho v Aries feud or a Jericho v ROH fued.

Rey v Orton- MOTN so far, and JBL got owned, though I knew he would. Orton winning is too much of a trend in BTBs and I was marking for Rey to pull through. Nice finishing sequence, I use the springboard into RKO as my finisher in SvR 2009, so it must pwn.

Punk v Regal- Solid action again. I like how the time limit was 20 mins but the match ended in 12. At first I was worried that the time limits might dictate the length of the match at hand, but this match proves that may not always be the case. Nevertheless, time limits still suck.

Batista v Shawn- It was a good match throughout, but the best thing was Orton getting over as a heel at the end and causing Shawn to not win. The ending was really great in that way, and all in all I am looking forward to Punk/Orton. A better thing would be to have Batista not acdept the handshake and spit in Shawn's face to set up a fued there, but mayb not.

AC- This was a pretty good first show, but you should go for a dialogue style of promo to make them more interesting.

Check out WWE 2009- Fast Forward to Future. Smackdown is posted and the voices in your head that council you want you to review.

Monday Night Raw: The New Beginning
December 8th 2008
Albany, New York

We are welcomed to WWE Monday Night Raw by Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler, who announce that tonight, Raw will have a huge 6 man tag team match main eventing the show, and very well could have major repercussions on the future of the industry.

As the announce team finish up introducing us to the show, the music of Chris Jericho comes over the arena's speakers. The crowd begins to boo Jericho imensley, as he walks down to the ring in a custom tailored suit. He has quite the serious expression on his face, as he makes his way up the steel ring steps and into the ring. He hops into the ring, as Lillian Garcia hands him the microphone. Jericho gazes out into the crowd with a no nonsense look on his face.

Jericho begins to talk, saying that last week there was a blatant show of disrespect by Austin Aries displayed to Chris Jericho, and that Austin Aries thinks he can walk around on his turf because he won a few titles in a no name independent in Philadelphia. The New York crowd begins to boo Jericho heavily, and a "You Suck" chant starts up. Jericho then says that that's the main problem, the fans think that the true talent sucks. Jericho makes note that he is the man who worked his way up the ladder, and deserves respect. He says that he shouldn't be pushed around, by some no good, arrogant punk who is nothing more then a glorified lightweight. Jericho says that Aries tried to physically harm Jericho last week, but mentions that Jericho is one of the top superstars in the company, and Aries has proved absolutely nothing to make him worthy of even facing Chris Jericho in a match. Jericho is about to talk again, but is interuptted by the opening chords of "Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson. This brings out Austin Aries, who gets a warmer reception than last week. Aries, with a look of discontent on his face, makes his way into the ring, already in his wrestling gear. Aries is handed a microphone, and says that he worked his ass off for the past 5 years, and that he doesn't need to show respect toward Jericho, who should know what it's like to come up in the business with absolutely nothing.

Jericho chuckles at the comment, and then remarks to Aries that he remembers quite clearly, but he always did what he was supposed to, and kept himself in line. Jericho says that when someone told him to do something that was in a higher position than he was, he would listen out of common courteously to his elders. Aries says that he does indeed respect the past, but that's where he believes they should stay- the past. This enrages Jericho, who then pushes Aries and tells him that later tonight, he will put him in his place. The two stare down as Raw heads to commercial

Commercial Break

Back from commercial, we are joined backstage by the World Tag Team Champions, Priceless. Ted DiBiase Ted says that for the past several months, they have reigned as tag team champions because they were raised by the best the business has to offer- both Ted DiBiase and Dusty Rhodes. DiBiase says that last week, when Priceless was pinned by The Briscoes, that it was a fluke, nothing more then a bad night for the team. DiBiase says that they are better then two redneck hicks from rural America who have no values. He finishes off by saying that when they face off tonight in a rematch, and The Briscoes realize that they are nothing more then two brothers who happened to get lucky, they will crawl back in their hole, and there will be no more mention of them.

Charlie Haas is seen standing in the ring, being nothing more then simply Charlie Haas. Haas says that for the past few months, he has been imitating superstars, and has had a fair deal of success, but now, he has gained the confidence necessary in order to wrestle as himself and prove he is able to beat Jerry Lynn, who is washed up, anyway.

1st Match: 10 Minute Time Limit
Jerry Lynn Vs. Charlie Haas

The match starts off face paced, as Lynn and Haas both exchange a wide variety of holds on the mat, each one trying to one up each other. Lynn manages to pick up the advantage on the younger Haas, before Haas comes back with some high paced offense, managing to land two dropkicks and a running clothesline. Haas gets too excited, though, and Lynn reverses an Irish Whip, and then hits a beautiful step up inziguri onto Haas. Lynn takes Haas up for the Cradle Piledriver, but Haas lifts his leg into the face of Lynn before he can, and then rolls Lynn up, upsetting the former ECW champion!
Winner: Charlie Haas(4:30)

Post match, Charlie Haas attempts to get his hand raised by the referee, but he shoves the referee off, and holds his own hand up high. Lynn, shocked on the mat, has his hands over his face in disappointment that he lost to Haas. Haas leaves, staring down Lynn as he walks to the back, triumphant.

Ted and Cody then work on isolating Jay on the ground, keeping him cornered. He finally makes the tag to Mark, who rushes into the ring, hitting a flurry of high end offense, before quickly trying for the Cut-Throat Driver on Cody again, but Ted comes in and hits the Million Dollar Sweepstakes on Mark! Mark covers and picks up a huge win for the 2nd week in a row over the tag champs!
Winner: The Briscoe Brothers (7:05)

As The Briscoes get to their feet, celebrating their win for the second week in a row, Ted pulls Cody outside the ring and starts yelling at him, and then goes over to the steel steps and kicks them, as well. Ted gets on the microphone and calls the Briscoes two very lucky people, but they won't be lucky because they will never, ever get their shot at Priceless for the tag belts.

Commercial Break

Backstage, Priceless are seen walking, still visibly frustrated about their loss just moments ago. As they walk, they run into Randy Orton. Orton looks at the duo, and Ted becomes defensive and asks him if he has a problem. We are joined backstage with Jerry Lynn and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin asks Lynn what happened out there, considering Lynn was so sure he could hang with the newer generation. Lynn tells Steve that it was his first match back, so of course he was going to be a little rusty. Austin tells Lynn that if he wants to be a viable contender on Raw, he is going to need to win a match soon. Lynn tells him not to worry.

Regal immediately tries to take Kofi to the mat, but the speed of Kofi is too much for Regal to handle, as he is immediately out matched and sent to the outside. He celebrates on the top rope, before coming down and seeing that "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson is in the ring with him with a microphone. Danielson says that he's the best wrestler in the world, and Kofi has something that he believes rightfully belongs to him. Kofi drops the belt and tells Bryan to bring it on, but Bryan tells Kofi he doesn't want to fight a man who isn't at 100%, and backs off, saying that his time will come.

Backstage, Batista says that last week, he should have beaten Shawn Michaels and gotten his chance at the World Heavyweight Championship.
