Can anyone fill me in on the story of why Couture is this bad man?

Anytime he was even remotely unhappy he left the UFC but always came crawling back. When he tried to sue the UFC years ago to get out of another contract he made Dana out to be the biggest bastard on the planet, but yet when Coutures kid was born and Randy had to be on TUF he had no problem leaving his newborn with Dana for the night.

Randy gets a lot of love but he pulled all the behind the scenes complaining and bitching that Tito did and worse, he elft the UFC like 3 or 4 times because he wasn't happy with something but always came back.

Its not the changing jobs, its running off everytime he was even remotely unhappy but always crawling back. And dragging Danas name through the mud trying to paint him out to be a monster so he can get some money, guys a douchebag.

IIRC he left to try and get a fight with Fedor in Affliction, it fell through on money, Fedor accepted a fight with Josh Barnett and the rest is history.

Dana prol feels burned, but hey if you pay guys in peanuts they are gonna go seek bigger cheques.

I dont see any way Rumble screws this up, i mean i know he usually does come in overweight. Arlovskis been on a roll lately and i think wins this one by KO.

Arlovski has looked pretty good lately, yeah he's not beating elite guys but just look at the current state of the UFC HW division, there aren't many elite HWs out there. An Arlovski return would see him in the top 10 even with his glass jaw. If Shane Carwin can be ranked #10 after not fighting for 2-3 years anyone can crack the top 10 of the HW division.

How can you call Mir a scrub? He may not be a superstar but he's still a threat.

Mir is always a threat and i think people count him out cause he hasn't strung a bunch of wins over good fighters.

Mirs just to inconsistent/only poses a threat if he can get you to the ground. With Cain and JDS around he'll never be Champ again.

But yeah the HW division might be the best HW division the UFC has ever had but its still pretty poor. But really thats across the board in MMA, look at the LHW, MW, and low weight divisions. Only LW and WW have a decent amount of top fighters. MMA's in that stage where you cant be one dimensional but to be legit talented at several martial arts isn't easy. People spend their entire life trying to master one martial art let alone 2 or three.

You must have forgotten about Stefan Struve. Not a title threat yet but with his reach, KO power, submission ability and adding in the fact that he is 24 surely that makes for one hell of a fighter. He has proven so far that he is a talented fighter but struggled at times against the top opponents, with experience he will become so much better and once he figures out how to use his reach to his full potential I think that he will eventually be a title contender.
