The UFC is stopping all FX shows for now on. Only going to be doing Fox shows, as Fuel TV is being renamed to Fox Sports 2.

Also a quick reminder, the new season of The Ultimate Fighter with Jones/Sonnen starts tomorrow night, and UFC on FOX 6 is this Saturday.

That is a bit strange that they are changing things up so early into their partnership with FOX. Is it because FOX itself is completely rebranding itself and it's other channels?

It's on Fox's part, basically FX isn't running anymore Sports shows all together, excluding The Ultimate Fighter because it's classified as Sports-Entertainment. just read an interview with with Dana White and he said he hasn't heard anything on it, which would be hard to believe if it's true seeing as the UFC brings in some of the highest rated shows on the network.

Ah okay that makes sense. It did seem a bit odd considering it was a good ratings draw but if they are changing the direction of the channel it makes sense to move it to one of their other channels.

Are you going to be on this Saturday for the UFC show? I'm going to try and get the thread going all night. Been a while since we've had an active UFC Show thread.

I am not sure if I will be watching it live, hopefully I will be as I haven't been on a UFC live chat for a long time.

I'ma be stuck at work til 930 Saturday. Not sure what is happening after work. But if I have nothing goin on I should be at home to catch this. I at least got the DVR set to record just in case.
