It was also in One BC in the UFC, when they were actually half decent fighters.

Arlovski was allowed to soccer kick, it was just some dumb rule where the ref tells you if it's ok to kick.

Dumb rule, either have it or don't. Can't leave it in the hands of someone open to error.

So its okay to soccer kick but its at the discretion of the ref whether its okay? So I mean what do you do? Do you get the guy down and then look at the ref and be like "Hey is it okay if I soccer kick this guy?"

That rule makes no sense at all.

The ref is supposed to give a signal, i believe he just raises his hand and then it's okay to soccer kick. I'm going to download the fight a little later on. I guess they're also going to be planning a 5th fight between the two.

Anyways, it sucks that UFC 151 was supposed to be today. Now I've got nothing to watch, I'm kicking back and watching some old school PRIDE though.

They (One FC) have adopted the PRIDE rules now.

Terrible decision IMO, I'm no prude but some of the soccer kicks and stomps are really cringy and dangerous, the one Huerta got KO'd with was real nasty.

Soccer kicks look bad, but they have the same kind of impact as elbows on the ground.

It just doesn't work in the cage because you can grab the fence and go to town.

Along with Jose Aldo being involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday, Junior Dos Santos was involved in a car accident also. Both have suffered no injuries.

Was just reading that the Cancellation of UFC 151 cost them, $45 Million.

25 Mill just for the UFC alone, and another 20 million for business owners in Las Vegas like hotels and restaurants, taxis, clubs.

This should be brought up at everyone press conference Jones does for UFC 152. Cost a lot of people money by not taking the fight on short notice. I didn't realise that it cost UFC that much money.
