MLW is likely going to lose, especially considering earlier precedents with WWE aiding lesser companies in the spirit of competition in the past (ECW, Evolve, etc), and has had major competition to nearly go bakrupt (WCW, AEW to an extent). WWE isn't much of a trust as it was in the early to mid 00s after WCW died.

I'd argue nowadays Pro wrestlers have more places to go to and get exposure than they did for decades, possibly as far back as the 1980s.
